Phase 1 of 345 Hudson, a trailblazing project developed by Hines and Hudson Square Properties, was recently honored by Engineering News-Record with the 2024 Excellence in Sustainability Award, and I was proud to celebrate this achievement with Consigli Construction Co., Inc. and members of our project team this week in NYC. Once complete, the retrofit and rapid electrification of this nearly century-old building will enable 345 Hudson to reduce its carbon emissions by at least 70 percent and serve as a model for other large commercial buildings pursuing decarbonization.
