Thanks for a great SaaSiest yesterday! A lot of food for thought for my inner founder who geeks out about product/market-fit, growth hacking and metrics 🤓 Some of my personal highlights were: 🎢 SaaS Market Prediction from Oxx: After a couple of rollercoaster years there are signs of a stabilizing market. 2024-2026 will be a good time to sell or IPO SaaS companies. 🚀 Selling as a SaaS (we can all learn here - SaaS or not): Provide value before you (try to) sell: Find your customers’ “Aha! moment” (show them your core value - show, don’t tell), then loop in sales. 💡 Most used SaaS acquisition tactics? Free trials (used by 44.2%) (Freemium used by 18.7%) Thanks for a great presentation Leah Tharin (insightful presentation served with lots of humor) Ending off the evening in great company with Vendep Capital, Peak and a ton of good founders and VCs 🤩

Lots of people posting this eMarketer graph and here's why it's misleading. The capabilities of MMM has changed so much, I wonder if it's worth comparing what the startups are doing with SaaS approaches (us) vs what has been handled through the traditional providers. Key thing is look beyond MMM as a point solution. It's like comparing buying engines to buying cars.
