Continuous improvement in processes is key in the industry. That's why, at HORSE, we firmly believe in innovation as a lever to keep moving forward. With that mindset, we have launched #MatrixFlow, a revolutionary, fully digital process for the new production line for PEBs (Power Electronics Boxes).   Instead of using traditional conveyor belts, we are employing robots in a production line that has up to 30 Mobile Programmable Cobots (MPCs) autonomously transporting tools and parts across the factory floor. Today we had a fantastic start to our new webinar series entitled 'Textiles of the Future', which is one of the ongoing activities of our partnership with the European Commission of the same name. 130 live participants and 3 highly inspiring speakers who all agreed that the current production system of clothing and fashion is broken and ripe for disruptive innovation. Highly automated digital micro-factories were highlighted not only as a way of making apparel truly on demand in a cost and environmentally efficient way close to the point of consumption, but also a place where consumers can experience and reconnect with the material and the making of clothing to better value the products they buy, wear and care for. Thank you Thomas Fischer, Michael Mayr & Simon Giuliani for your great contributions. Over the coming months (and years) we will continue to shine spotlights on the key research and innovation topics we have described in our Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda published in July. Next stop is 14th November when we dip our toes into AI for advanced textile and fashion production and business models. In December 2024/January 205 we will start enabling project creation through brokerage and idea sharing for the first EU funding calls in Q1-2025.
