Did you know that over the last ten years, the Human Rights Campaign has recorded 372 deaths from violence of victims who were transgender? At least 36 have died of violence in the last year alone which is a slight increase over the previous year. The number of victims is likely higher because many deaths often aren’t reported or are misreported. We must see #transgenderrights as #humanrights.

Transgender Day of Remembrance is observed each year to honour those we've lost to anti-transgender violence. Two-Spirit, transgender, and non-binary individuals face disproportionately high levels of violence, and it is our responsibility to raise awareness, stand against discrimination, and work towards a safer, more inclusive future. ➡There are resources available in the area if you or someone you know needs support: https://lnkd.in/eCKGs64a https://kindspace.ca/ https://lnkd.in/eFZwkxvQ ➡To learn more about Transgender Day of Remembrance: https://glaad.org/tdor/ #TransgenderDayofRemembrance
