Communities are powerful. I've been 2 times on parental leave. This should be every dad's obligation. → Give a break to your spouse. → Have a special time with your little one(s). → Feel the challenge of raising kids. Glad we have a country that has supported this for 1.5+ years. 8 years ago, as a first-time dad, I didn't know what to expect. So I created a Facebook group called “Best Dads Club” for over 500 dads. That served me and a lot of other dads really well. → Exchange ideas → Gain instant feedback → Find the best items to buy → Learn how to solve problem X Especially helpful for the first several years while kids are small. This was one of the first times when I saw the power of communities: → How common interests and values united people. → Where to find support from those who have done it. Now I've taken communities to the next level. I've established a private community: → For females and males from 10+ countries → Building their full-time and side businesses → Learning to leverage their personal brands → Finding support and accountability to grow together. Moving step by step toward financial and time freedom. Alone you can go fast, but together you can go further. What's the best part of being part of a community for you? As we focus on Connection & Community as a core vertical, we're increasingly aware of the unique challenges faced by Gen Z. Among those aged 18-24, 13% are "disengaged," meaning they're neither working nor in school. Additionally, 45% of people aged 18-29 still live at home. Four-year college enrollment has dropped by 8% in the last five years, and 55% of this generation expresses little interest in having children. The traditional path to independence looks different for Gen Z, highlighting a need for products and services that resonate with their values. If they're not meeting each other at work or school or focusing on raising families, we're keen to explore how this generation will build connection and community—whether through caring for pets and plants, spending disposable income in travel, or channeling their energy and resources into creating their ideal home environment. #genz #investingingenz

🚀 Yesterday, the Family FunsFeed team had the incredible opportunity to visit the Lynn Family Resource Center to discuss our upcoming app and share valuable insights on family bonding and online safety with grandparents. 🙌 It was an amazing experience connecting with some of our target audience—grandparents who are eager to support their families in fostering stronger connections while navigating the digital world safely. The conversations were full of valuable feedback and meaningful exchanges, making it clear how important it is to keep families connected in today’s fast-paced, tech-driven world. Here are three key things we learned during our visit: 1. Grandparents are incredibly devoted to their family and grandchildren's upbringing, and they want to be included in every way they can. 2. While technology is here to stay and is crucial for making life easier, the smartest approach is using it for beneficial purposes, fostering positive connections and growth. 3. Storytelling and in-person dialogue are essential for learning through experience. These rich, human interactions achieve something that textbooks and blackboards simply cannot. The app we’re developing is all about empowering families to create memorable moments together and promote healthy, meaningful online interactions. 💡 We’re grateful for the chance to hear directly from those who are helping shape future generations. This visit was a huge success, and we look forward to continuing these conversations and refining our app to better serve families everywhere. Thank you to the Lynn Family Resource Center for hosting us, and to all the grandparents who shared their wisdom! 💬 Check out Lynn FRC here: https://lnkd.in/e9dzJinK #FamilyBonding #FamilyFunsFeed #AppDevelopment #Grandparents #DigitalSafety #FamilyConnections #CommunityEngagement #InnovationInParenting #TechForGood #BuildingStrongerFamilies #OnlineSafety

Advocating for Inclusive Public Spaces for Families at the Timberland Regional Library District 📚 Public libraries are essential community hubs, and we can make them even more welcoming by implementing Parent-Child Computer Workstations like this one seen at Henrico County Public Library’s Fairfield branch! Inspired by this Virginia public library’s innovative ‘Parent & Child Carrel,’ these workstations feature computers alongside safe play areas for young children, allowing parents to focus on tasks while their little ones stay engaged nearby. 🧑🧑🧒🧒 Imagine providing parents the flexibility to apply for jobs, study, or work, all while keeping their children safe in the same space. This approach ensures libraries remain accessible for everyone in our busy, modern world. ✨ #PublicLibraries #FamilySupport #CommunityInnovation #ParentChildWorkstations #InclusiveSpaces #TimberlandLibraries #WashingtonState #Inclusion #Access #TimberlandLibraries #TimberlandRegionalLibrary

More answers and tips in the caption ⬇️ As parents, we all want the best for our children. We envision bright futures filled with success, happiness, and fulfillment. But it can be challenging to keep our kids on the right track. That's why we're diving deep into a critical topic: How to Keep Your Kids Off the Couch and Out of Trouble. The hallmarks of families whose kids stay out of trouble are built on a foundation of love and unconditional support. Here's what you need to know: ☀️ Set Clear Standards: What does your family stand for? What are your values, and what behaviors are non-negotiable? Setting clear standards helps your kids understand what is expected of them and the consequences of their actions. ☀️ Model Good Behavior: Kids are incredibly perceptive and absorb everything from an early age. As parents, it's crucial to model healthy relationships, responsible alcohol use, and a firm stance against drugs. Your actions speak louder than words, and your kids will emulate what they see. ☀️ Open Communication: Foster an environment where your children feel comfortable talking to you about anything. Whether it's school challenges, peer pressure, or personal struggles, knowing they have a safe space to express themselves can prevent many issues from escalating. ☀️ Active Engagement: Encourage your kids to participate in activities that interest them. Whether it's sports, arts, or volunteering, keeping them engaged in positive pursuits helps them build confidence, develop skills, and avoid negative influences. ☀️ Consistent Support: Be there for your kids consistently and unconditionally. Celebrate their successes, support them through failures, and remind them you're always in their corner. Your unwavering support can make all the difference in their lives. ☝🏻 Remember, keeping kids out of trouble isn't about being perfect—it's about being present, proactive, and positive. By setting a strong foundation of love, clear standards, good modeling, open communication, active engagement, and consistent support, you can guide your children toward a bright and trouble-free future.

🗳️ Running for Office? It’s Time to Rethink What Community Engagement Really Means 🗳️ In every election cycle, we see candidates focus on door knocking as the key to reaching voters. But is that really the answer? True leadership is about giving back to the community and making a real difference. Imagine holding a BBQ for families, setting up a bouncy castle for the kids, or handing out turkeys in neighborhoods that need it most. Being there for the community in ways that show real care, real commitment, and real action. When I run for office, you’re going to see a different approach. No empty promises, no division – just bringing people together and making a lasting impact. Because leadership is about building up the community, not just knocking on doors. Let’s show people what true community engagement looks like. It’s time for actual change – the kind that brings people together. #CommunityFirst #RealLeadership #Unity #GivingBack #ActualChange
