"Consistency is what transforms average into excellence." — Tony Robbins, having said that, today I completed the 21-day Problem of the Day (POTD) challenge by GeeksforGeeks, powered by Deutsche Bank. Now answering to the question, “How has this 21-day POTD streak powered by Deutsche Bank helped you?”, I can say that this experience has been transformative, enhancing my knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) while building consistency and discipline. Each day introduced a new problem, starting from basic concepts like sorting and searching to more advanced topics such as dynamic programming, backtracking, and graph theory. These problems pushed me to break down complex challenges into smaller parts, allowing me to systematically find optimal solutions while managing runtime and space complexity. A key focus throughout the challenge was optimization, which is critical in high-performance environments like financial systems. Just as Deutsche Bank’s tech solutions prioritize speed and efficiency, I learned to study and practice optimizing algorithms for better performance. This involved selecting the right data structures—such as stacks, queues, and graphs—based on the problem, ensuring both time and space efficiency. Beyond technical skills, the challenge helped me develop the discipline to tackle problems consistently. Engaging with new challenges daily improved my focus, time management, and problem-solving habits. It also connected me with other learners, expanding my network and fostering collaboration. The real-world relevance of the problems, aligned with industry scenarios, made the challenge particularly meaningful. Supported by Deutsche Bank, the problems reflected practical applications, bridging the gap between theory and real-world solutions. I am deeply grateful to GeeksforGeeks and Deutsche Bank for this valuable opportunity. This 21-day streak has boosted my confidence, technical expertise, and motivation to keep learning. I look forward to applying these skills to future projects, especially in optimization-driven tasks. #geekstreak2024 #deutschebank #problemSolving #dsa #optimization #consistency #geeksforgeeks #gfgs PS: Check out my gfgs account: https://lnkd.in/gJeHwDA5

🎉 Day 21 of #GeekStreak2024 is complete! These 21 days have been a transformative journey, powered by Deutsche Bank. The daily POTD challenges have truly helped me grow, both as a coder and problem solver. Initially, I felt uncertain and hesitant—especially on day one—but as the days passed, my confidence improved significantly. What once seemed daunting became something I look forward to every day. Consistently solving problems has taught me the importance of practice, and how even small, incremental steps lead to massive improvements over time. Tackling challenges like linked lists, binary trees, and dynamic programming has pushed me out of my comfort zone. Each solved problem not only reinforced my technical skills but also helped me overcome the fear of new, complex tasks. This streak has taught me the value of patience, perseverance, and a structured learning routine. I’m extremely grateful to GeeksforGeeks for the incredible problem sets and to Deutsche Bank for supporting this journey. With this momentum, I’m excited to announce that I’m taking on a 365-day coding challenge starting today. 💪 I’m ready to continue pushing boundaries and growing every day. Let’s see what the next year of learning and coding brings! #DeutscheBank #CodingJourney #365DayChallenge #ProblemSolving #Growth

Day 20 #GeeksforGeeks2024 Challenge (Organized by Deutsche Bank)Today, I successfully tackled the Problem Of The Day as part of the GeeksforGeeks2024 Challenge hosted by Deutsche Bank in collaboration with GeeksforGeeks. 💻✨ Problem: Given an array, perform these operations repeatedly until only one element is left: Rotate the array to the right. Delete the last element in each step unless the step count exceeds the array size, in which case delete the first element. 💡 Challenges Faced: Efficiently rotating and deleting elements without blowing up time complexity. Ensuring the solution worked even when the step count exceeded the array size. 🛠 Key Learnings: Instead of physically rotating the array, we can simulate the rotations with index manipulation. Handling edge cases like when the step number is larger than the array size. ✅ Final Solution: The algorithm runs in O(n) time and efficiently reduces the array size through each iteration until only one element remains. 🏆 This was a fantastic exercise in optimizing code for efficiency, and I'm excited to keep pushing forward with more challenging problems! Big thanks to the GeeksforGeeks team as well for providing a platform with valuable resources and challenges that make learning and coding so much fun. 🙌 Looking forward to the next set of challenges and continuing this exciting journey! #geeksforgeeks #deutschebank

Over 300 talented IT developers from Paris, Singapore, and London participated in Capital Market IT's (CMI) API Days, a two-day hackathon fostering friendly competition fuelled by a shared passion for innovation and driving @Credit Agricole CIB's digital transformation forward. The electric atmosphere buzzed as teams combined vision, technical expertise, and that same passion to propel the Bank's digital journey. Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) are revolutionising organisational thinking, streamlining processes, and enhancing data utilisation in the BankTech space. Their impact on our Bank's business model will be profound. APIs are not just technical interfaces; they signify a new mindset that transcends their technical functionalities and widespread adoption. Over the course of the event, participants developed an impressive 122 new APIs, many of which are expected to go live in the near future. These solutions will simplify and expedite access to the Bank's data and services for clients, partners, and employees, while adhering to the highest quality and security standards. This year's hackathon went beyond technical skills, partnering with our business lines, the event showcased the power of APIs to foster an agile and collaborative work environment. Our IT developers and Business teams effectively harnessed the potential of APIs to tackle real-world challenges, optimise processes, elevate customer experiences, and strengthen internal and external collaboration. #APIDays #Hackathon #Innovation #DigitalTransformation #Collaboration
