Imagine driving on freeways that sparkle with cleanliness, where every mile tells a story of community and care. That's the vision we, a group led by Azad Arnaud, are turning into reality in the Inland Empire. Starting this weekend, we're hitting the freeways not just to rid them of CRV material but to ignite a movement for a cleaner, more vibrant city. Every piece of recyclable material we collect funds our dream: a revolutionary recycling initiative designed to educate, inspire, and transform our community's approach to waste. This isn't just about cleaning; it's about building something lasting. Something that goes beyond taking trash off the streets and into fostering a culture of environmental responsibility and innovation. Join us. Whether by supporting our fundraiser or picking up gloves and standing by our side, you become part of a pivotal change. Let's not just clean our city; let's redefine what it means to care for our environment. The choice is yours. Will you drive by or drive change?

Imagine a freeway, not as a ribbon of asphalt, but as a canvas of opportunity. My friend and I see that canvas and are grabbing our gloves. We're hitting the freeways, not just to rid them of litter, but to reclaim CRV materials that too often are overlooked. This isn't just clean-up. It's a mission. A mission for cleaner freeways, a better city in the Inland Empire, and ultimately, a greener planet. Every CRV material we collect fuels our fundraiser, a seed for a new kind of recycling initiative right here in our community. We're talking about an initiative that doesn't just deal with trash. It's about educating, inspiring, and transforming the way we see waste - not as an end, but as a resource. This is where you come in. Your support, whether through joining us, spreading the word, or contributing to our fundraiser, isn't just help. It's a statement. A statement that you believe in cleaner roads, educated communities, and a healthier planet. Drop a comment or message us. Let’s not just clean – let’s educate and inspire. Together, we can turn trash into treasure and freeways into pathways of change.

“When we want to talk about sustainability, we can’t just talk about materials. We have to talk about communities and people as well, in terms of the way we empower folks, the way we work against exclusivity, the way we break apart imbalances in terms of economic power and social power, work against stigma like racism and classism – that these are part of a sustainable culture.” —Ryan Castalia, Executive Director, Sure We Can One of the many inspiring clients you'll get to meet in our 2023 Annual Report is Sure We Can, a nonprofit recycling center serving their Brooklyn community through recycling, composting, gardening, and the arts. A true privilege to witness a milestone in community and environmental impact today as Recycle4Change launched their newest recycling facility in Point Cook. ♻️ This isn't just about recycling—it's about transforming lives. Recycle4Change embodies their mission to provide meaningful employment to those with lived experience in the justice system, all while driving sustainable change for our community and our planet. Chief Chance Creator Rob Brown explains that some have endured hardship from simply growing up in the wrong environment, or making a single, life-altering mistake. A high percentage of those employed at R4C are mothers—balancing school drop-offs and pick-ups—who’ve faced barriers due to lack of access to education and opportunities. But here, they’re given what they truly deserve: a second chance. To date, R4C has successfully transitioned 150 individuals back into full-time employment, with an incredible zero recidivism rate. This isn’t just about providing jobs; it’s about restoring dignity, fostering resilience, and creating safer, stronger communities. R4C ensures that every container collected contributes to a brighter, safer, and more sustainable future. So what are you waiting for? Head down to R4C, get cash for your containers, and support a cause that unites social purpose with environmental stewardship. Making a real difference—one container at a time. 🌎 . . . . #Sustainability #SocialEnterprise #CommunityImpact #Recycling #CDS #SecondChances #wyndhambusiness #socialimpact #communityleadership #changemakers Amanda Alizzi Rob Brown Lesley Rogan David Turnbull Lisa Ryan Simon Fenech Adam Wilkinson Samuel Fragapane Dr Jennie Barrera Susan McIntyre Cr. Taking Action Where It's Needed Most. My friend and I are embarking on a mission unlike any other – hitting the freeways of the Inland Empire to tackle litter head-on. Our objective? To clean up, reclaim CRV materials, and funnel all proceeds into a groundbreaking initiative. We're not just talking about cleaning up; we're revolutionizing the way recycling services operate. California might forget to remind you about your CRV refunds, but we won't. Our vision is to launch a recycling pickup service that not only cleans our streets but also puts money back into your pockets. This is more than a cleanup; it's an educational crusade to demonstrate the value of recycling and inspire a community-wide movement. We're here to prove that every small action contributes to a larger change. Join us. Whether through action or words, your support can ignite a transformation across the Inland Empire. Drop a comment or message us. Let's not just take out the trash; let's educate, inspire, and make a lasting impact together.

At Make Good, Make Green, we’re not just focused on demolition—we’re focused on sustainable transformation. Seeing the “before and after” of each project reminds me how intentional practices can make a world of difference. Here are some of the tips we apply every time: 🔄 Before: We carefully evaluate which materials can be salvaged, reused, or donated. Thoughtful planning means valuable resources get a second life! ♻️ During: Our team sorts materials on-site, making it easier to recycle metals, woods, and plastics responsibly. 🌍 After: We ensure any remaining waste is disposed of sustainably, partnering with recycling centers and charities to keep waste out of landfills. I'm proud of our commitment to eco-friendly practices in every project—turning demolition into a truly green transformation. If you’re passionate about sustainable building, let’s connect! Follow us for more tips!

ICYMI - something extraordinary is happening in Louisville! The Revinylize Recycling Collaborative recently assembled a one-of-a-kind partnership bringing sustainability and innovation to life. We kicked things off by re-siding a local non-profit’s home with new, durable vinyl siding. And here’s the twist: the old siding did not head to the landfill. It was collected and recycled locally! This is more than a project; it’s a movement for a greener, stronger community. Read more about the project and learn how you can be part of the Revinylize effort in your community! https://hubs.ly/Q02_V_2s0

Did you know there’s an active landfill inside Big Bend National Park? Because of the park’s remote location, every piece of trash thrown away here stays here—forever. And with the landfill rapidly filling up, there’s no clear solution for what comes next. That’s why we’re proud to partner with Subaru of America through the #DontFeedTheLandfills initiative. With innovative tools like solar-powered compactors, propane and battery recycling systems, and community cleanup efforts, we’re working to slow the landfill’s fill rate and reduce waste in the park. But we need your help. Small choices—packing out your trash, recycling responsibly, and reducing single-use items—make a big difference in protecting this incredible landscape. Together, we can keep Big Bend beautiful for generations to come. ♻️ #SubaruLovesTheEarth #BigBendNationalPark #LeaveNoTrace

Earth Day runs deep in the Patrick family. Check out this throwback photo of my dad and me donning our Recycle hats and t-shirts. My dad was on the committee that brought recycling into our town. He instilled a strong sense of responsibility for the planet in us. When I was a wasteful child, my dad would say "do you want a landfill in our backyard?" It still sticks with me. I pack my lunch for work, not because I'm a particularly good cook, but because it cuts down on the waste from the cafeteria to-go containers. What are you doing to be "green" this Earth Day? #EarthDay #sustainability #throwback #ReduceReuseRecycle #SupplyChain #SupplyChainManagement #strategicsourcing

Imagine cleaner freeways and a greener city. That's our mission. My friend and I are hitting the freeways—not for a joyride, but with a purpose. Armed with bags and grabbers, we're targeting CRV materials littering our paths. Why? Because every can, every bottle, has a story and a potential for more. Our vision doesn't stop at cleaning. The CRV funds collected fuel our bigger dream: launching a revolutionary recycling initiative right here in the Inland Empire. This isn't just about recycling. It's about redefining it. We're on a mission to not only clean but to educate and inspire. To transform trash into treasure and indifference into action. But dreams this big don't thrive in isolation. They need a community. They need you. Join us. Whether it's by lending a hand, spreading the word, or simply sending a word of encouragement—every action counts. Drop a comment. Message us. Let’s not just clean. Let’s educate. Let’s inspire. Together, we can redefine recycling and revitalize our community. Your next bottle could pave the way for a cleaner, greener future. Are you in?
