Continued Learning... Evidence for Action Reducing Jargon: Tactics for Clear Communication "Advancing health equity and racial and Indigenous justice requires convincing broad, diverse audiences to work together to disrupt the current systems and structures. Changing minds and driving people to action requires communicating with these audiences in engaging, accessible, and impactful ways. I know that I am biased as a VCU graduate (earned my PhD there in the SOM and teach as an adjunct in the new School of Population Health). However, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this series that a team as put together as a part of the university's Ethics and Compliance training. This module addresses the importance of bystanders not standing by and remaining silence when they witness discrimination or hostile treatment. https://lnkd.in/dNEp6nMX

Please let me know what you think about the findings and recommendations. Cultural humility is something we should adapt to practicing over competency. This paper explains why. Enjoy!

New Open Access article alert! It’s always a pleasure to work with the brilliant Kirsty Strokosch. In this new paper in Public Management Review, we explore health and social care integration from a public service ecosystem perspective. As well as being able to recognise the interconnectedness between the different “layers” of the system and the multiplicity of actors involved, we propose there are important power dimensions regarding how the service ecosystem is framed, and the actors acknowledged as involved in value co-creation. In response, three interdependent types of integration (structural, institutional, and relational) are proposed. https://lnkd.in/e49GU6gM
