🌟 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 '𝗨𝗻𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁𝘀' 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻 🌟 Today, while waiting for the bus on Bloor Street, I came across a striking campaign that really caught my attention: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 '𝗨𝗻𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁𝘀' 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 by 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼-𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and DonerNorth. As a marketing student, I was inspired by how effectively this campaign addresses the real challenges faced by Gen X caregivers. What I found particularly compelling is how the ad captures the emotional journey of caregivers—many of whom navigate their roles in silence. This campaign not only raises awareness but also fosters a sense of community and support, reminding us that we’re not alone in our struggles. This initiative is a brilliant example of how marketing can go beyond promoting products; it can spark important conversations and provide valuable resources to those in need. Kudos to CareMakers and DonerNorth for their thoughtful approach! As I continue my studies in marketing, I’m excited to see how campaigns like this can inspire positive change in society #Marketing #SocialImpact #UnexpectedFirsts #AdvertisingWithPurpose #Caregiving

Thank you for this. Your leadership, relentless drive for self-improvement, and authenticity are truly admirable. Never lose sight of who you are as you continue your climb to success! Julia Perilli Recently, a few people have asked me, "Aren't you afraid of being too open about your leadership journey in public? Shouldn't you only showcase what’s working?" My honest answer is simple: this mindset is why so many entrepreneurs struggle in silence. The belief that we must always present a perfect front is isolating and, frankly, harmful. The truth is, pretending that everything is always going smoothly drives many to feel like they’re alone in their challenges. Our generation needs to embrace the reality that success is hard-earned. It’s not always easy, but it’s absolutely doable. The pressure to pretend is exhausting, and I’ve found that by sharing my ups and downs, I can connect with others who are navigating similar paths. My hope is that by being open about my journey, even one person might feel less isolated and understand that challenges and setbacks are part of growth. Surround yourself with people who genuinely want to see you succeed. The right community will lift you up, not encourage you to hide. Care Indeed | Home Health Care

I had the privilege of attending a night full of celebration, emotion, and inspiration at Care Indeed | Home Health Care's 14th anniversary Gala last weekend! I was deeply moved by the heartfelt words of Vanessa, their COO and co-founder, who shared with vulnerability her incredible journey in forming and growing the company, and by Dee, their passionate CEO and co-founder, who spoke about their bold vision to help others and scale to reach even more. It was truly inspiring to see these amazing women lead with such pure authenticity, integrity, and strength, tempered with empathy. I’m so grateful to have met Dee through our EMBA program at University of San Francisco School of Management—her passion, dedication, and vision have always impressed me. And I'm grateful to have met Vanessa through Dee, and get to follow along on her success in scaling their company! It was an honor to witness how they continue to lead and make an impact through Care Indeed. Care Indeed is absolutely leading the way in home care and skilled nursing, with a mission to create a better world for both seniors and caregivers. It was an honor to witness the impact they continue to make. Here’s to many more years of growth, connection, and compassion! #Anniversary #Leadership #Inspiration #CareIndeed #HomeCare #Growth #Passion #Gratitude

Yesterday saw our illustrious After Cloud product steering group for adult social care come to fruition, with some fantastic thought leader participants and some really useful insights and feedback. As many will know, our ultimate aim is to capture life stories well before there is ever a care need or requirement, so that if and when the time comes, both providers and carers have the back story of the individual they are caring for, and with the added benefit that families have a lasting legacy that can be passed from generation to generation. It's a shape shift in the way we think about capturing the here and now for longer term requirements, which we will be conducting through established partnerships, much in the same way that we capture therapeutic life story work and provide a voice to the child looked after, in #childrensservices. With apologies from Dianne Sherlock, Mark LLoyd and Des Kelly OBE, yesterday's line up, chaired by well regarded social care expert Sushil Radia consisted of the brilliant minds of Katie Costello, Annabel James, Stephen Burke, Lori Pinkerton-Rolet PPBIID, IIDA, FRSA, ADRg, Trudie Fell and William Laing, each bringing their respective and collective wisdom. I am incredibly grateful to each member for your valuable time and input 🙏 We thrive on collaboration and partnerships, so if you are a technology platform in the care space, a provider of care services or thought leader in your niche, perhaps we should we be talking? #productsteeringgroup #adultservices #socialcare #community #thoughtleadership #innovation #collaborativepartnerships #opportunity

As we celebrate Civic Health Month, we're excited to welcome Lindsay Ford, Executive Director of The Voter Network, to the United Methodist Health Ministry Fund’s Pioneers in Health podcast. In episode five, we explore the importance of voting to a healthy democracy and building healthy communities. At the nonpartisan Voter Network, Lindsay and her team provide effective tools and resources to increase voter participation and make voting easy. At the Health Fund, increasing voter engagement - and the work of The Voter Network - is important because increased voter participation is associated with better health outcomes, reduced unemployment and lower recidivism rates. We also know that people who vote are more likely to volunteer, stay informed, interact with their neighbors, and contact their elected officials. Lindsay also shares that relational organizing, work supported by the Voter Network’s Voter to Voter Program, is one of the most effective ways to increase voter participation. Voter to Voter helps Kansans like you talk to friends and family about voting. This trusted voter to voter outreach is one of the best ways to make a big impact on voting participation. We hope you’ll enjoy this great conversation with Lindsay Ford and use the Voter Network’s tools – including ballot guides – to help encourage your friends and family to vote. https://lnkd.in/gn6GQeAH
