Collegium partnered with Cetana to prove something. We believe that the traditional model of design & construction prevents us from building affordable and sustainable housing that allows Real Estate Developers, Residents, and the environment to mutually benefit. We believe that the world needs a Digital Anti-Thesis to the current analog thesis of the construction industry as it operates today. That's why we built Collegium. That's why we partnered with visionaries like Andrew Bowerbank and his team at Cetana. We are proving our "Anti-Thesis" with Cetana's 34 McRae and Innisfil, Ontario projects. I encourage #Investors and other #RealEstateDevelopers to engage with us and ask questions about how we're able to collapse costs and create above-market project returns. 11moGood luck with that one. Changes in proccesses or procedures may add some efficiency to a project. But material and productivity costs are a constant. New technology that meets current codes is always welcome. Adding mass timber may get a frame up more quickly but this is an added component to the building design. Don't you still need to use tradition materials to complete the building envelope and interior finishes? Adding stress skin panels to the building envelope may also improve the schedule but this is another prmium cost the doesn't offset the traditional cost of cladding materials and interior drywall.
