Crunch time and family time – an impossible mix? As I prepare for a major transition – moving back to Europe – the upcoming month is equal parts opportunity and challenge. The race against the clock is real, and kicking off several big projects makes this even more so. Does crunch team always mean sacrificing family time? To me, it doesn't have to be. Here's how I'm redefining the crunch time narrative to ensure quality moments with my family aren't compromised: 1. AI-Powered Writing: I made a pact with myself never to write a first draft again. AI can handle the heavy lifting of drafting emails, documents, and presentations. My role is restricted to editing. 2. Automated Scheduling: Using apps like Reclaim, not only are my meetings organized, but my entire day's tasks are dynamically adjusted based on completed work. It’s like having a digital executive assistant working 24/7. 3. My team of GPTS: I’ve enlisted my GPTs as digital team members, speeding up tasks by 80%. From crafting podcast questions to brainstorming solutions and writing social posts, these 'agents' are game changers in efficiency. Even amidst the whirlwind of tasks, the moments spent with loved ones fuel my days and inject joy into the busiest schedules.
