AI trading made easy... 🤖 A few months ago, I had a interesting conversation at a Web3 meetup in Barcelona with a crypto trader who talked me through his investment strategy and plans to build an AI agent to automate his trades (𝘐 𝘢𝘴𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘈𝘐 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘉𝘭𝘰𝘤𝘬𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘪𝘯). At the time, this approach felt pretty complex to implement myself but it made sense. Fast forward to today... with Coinbase’s new Based Agent, I can set up something similar in under three minutes! This is the kind of accessibility Web3 has been missing... seeing centralized exchanges drive this type innovation is a promising step but risky at the same time. Im looking forward to trying it out. ByteDance, TikTok’s parent company recently partnered with Mysten Labs. Mastercard has joined with Fideum Group and MetaMask, Microsoft has partnered with Aptos Labs, who will be speaking at our upcoming Proof of Talk event, on Web3 and AI. Every time I see a Web3 partnership that bridges traditional industries and Web3, I am encouraged, as there are significant issues such link ups could solve such as accessibility, onboarding, and crypto on ramps.     To foster successful relationships here, I think there are a few aspects needed, both on the industry and individual partnership levels:     Education and Awareness: By understanding concepts like blockchain, smart contracts, and dApps, traditional enterprises can grasp the potential benefits and implications for their respective fields.    Regulatory Clarity: Collaborative takes places within a given set of rules or regulations. All parties must understand, for example, how MiCA applies to each of their undertakings separately and together. This can be difficult as regulation in the sector is in its infancy, which brings me to my third point.     Open Dialogue: Transparent communication between stakeholders is essential, especially if proof of concept initiatives want to move into production and inspire broader adoption and investment.     Clear Governance Structures: Defining clear governance structures and roles/responsibilities for both parties involved in the partnership.
