The creative solutions our Phase 2 Healthathon participants are developing have brought to light powerful themes and lessons that will lead to better understanding and support for those affected by Long COVID. https://lnkd.in/eQki7fYK So far, the themes we’ve seen in submissions include:  Increased visibility: Projects like “We Want to Be Seen” and “Voices of Resilience” highlight the often invisible struggles of those living with Long COVID, emphasizing the need for greater awareness, empathy, and open communication within our communities and among the public. Enhanced data utilization: Solutions such as building the world’s largest dataset on Long COVID and leveraging AI-driven symptom monitoring tools underscore how data utilization can drive positive change in care and research. Connecting patients to providers and resources: Technologies that help bridge gaps in Long COVID care, like “EquiCare,” Long COVID CARE (Customized Aid and Resource Explorer), and the Long COVID care directory are needed so patients can easily access and leverage resources tailored to their needs. Technology that empowers: Across all submissions—from revolutionizing research participation to augmenting wearable metrics for fatigue-tracking among long-haulers—there is a clear indication that technology can significantly enhance the quality of life for those living with Long COVID.
