🚀✨ Day 31 of My #GeekStreak2024 Journey by GeeksforGeeks! ✨🚀 Hello, LinkedIn fam! Today’s challenge was solving a classic problem: 💡 Problem: Two Sum (Find if a pair with a given sum exists in an array) Task: Given an array arr[] and a target value, the goal was to check if there exist two numbers in the array that sum up to the target value. 🔸 Implemented an optimized two-pointer approach: 1️⃣ Sorted the array to enable efficient traversal. 2️⃣ Used two pointers: one starting from the beginning (pointer1) and the other from the end (pointer2). 3️⃣ Adjusted pointers based on the sum of the selected numbers to narrow down possibilities efficiently. Time Complexity: O(n log n) due to sorting. We can also use hashing technique for this problem: We will only iterate through the array only once in the worst case. The element is subtracted from the target value,to get the required value, if the required value is not present in the hashmap, we will add it in the map with its index. If we can find it in the hashmap, then we will return true. Here is the detailed code:  HashMap<Integer,Integer> map = new HashMap<>();     for(int i = 0; i < arr.length; i++){       int reqValue = target-arr[i];       if(map.containsKey(reqValue)){         return true;       }       else{         map.put(arr[i],i);       }     }     return false; 💪 Solving this problem reminded me of the elegance of simple yet powerful techniques like the two-pointer approach! 👩💻 The journey of improving coding efficiency and problem-solving strategies continues. #Sveltekit is my new mistress. You may find this funny , at first when I saw Sveltekit , I got fear and got nervous and thought I never gonna learn this framework. I was a nextjs developer , and I was so used to with nextjs and react , I thought it is the ultimate. Syntax of sveltekit was very new to me and took very unique approach to solve problems . But I was determined to learn Sveltekit , after many months of war with my mind and myself , I finally made a website which is completely made by me without any help from AI or Youtube, just reading by documentation . And man , that experience was very pleasing , I was feeling very satisfied after writing the full code , it was an Ecommerce website will all of the features , I also used Sveltekit Shadcn UI, Man I love Sveltekit. Please don't stick with only one technology for life time , learn other technologies also. It will provide you more confidence , more knowledge and you'll be more smarter.
