Earth Day isn't just for April 22nd. It's a daily habit! Since millions came together in 1970, let's keep that momentum going. Senator Gaylord Nelson started this movement in 1970, inspiring students to fight for a healthy planet. We can all be environmental stewards every single day. St. Kate's students are leading the charge! Through clubs, organizations, and alums partnerships, their initiatives are making a real difference. Today, there are multiple events on campus to raise awareness and increase participation. Seeing how their work aligns perfectly with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is inspiring. In other words, everything they do to improve our world connects directly to these global goals for a better future. Call for Chapter Contributions: Digital Transformation, Environmental Sustainability and Wellbeing in the Global South This upcoming book explores how digital advancements can be harnessed to achieve environmental sustainability and improve human well-being in developing countries (Global South). By collecting diverse perspectives, the book aims to identify best practices for leveraging digital tools to create a more sustainable and equitable future for the Global South, aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Human rights issue are always connected and associated with sustainability. Today our world is focus on the issue of reducing carbon emission and building a sustainable environment, the the intent to ignore the human right issues connected to these ambition are worrisome. Many thanks to the United Nation Institute for Training and research in collaboration with UN human right committee for this insight on policy of sustainable development.

Now Available! Our new paper "Toward sustainable cities: Assessing drivers of SDG performance in Italian municipalities" has been published in Sustainable Development. Thanks to my co-authors Vitiana L'Abate, Arcangelo Marrone and Filippo Vitolla

This course introduces me to the interdisciplinary field of sustainable development and draws upon the most recent developments in the social and physical sciences. Also, gain the knowledge of the complex interactions between the world economy and the Earth's physical environment, and address issues of environmentally sustainable and socially inclusive development. 

JM is proud to see a growing commitment across the private sector to protect nature, restore ecosystems, and ensure a liveable planet for future generations, with 70% of companies highlighting this in a recent global survey 🌳   We're playing our part through our new Nature Strategy, which outlines clear targets and actions in line with guidelines from the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD).
