Often families find themselves looking for information and background knowledge to help them better support their children through the Individualized Education Program (IEP). The Building Strong Parent Advocates training provides information to help families build a solid foundation to understand the special education process while empowering them to be their child’s best advocate.

RedDrop was founded by women for young tween girls. I was inspired to create RedDrop after my fifth-grade class of girls started their cycle with me in the classroom. I saw how overwhelmed they were about their new stage of life. I knew that I had to help them in my role as an educator and a mom. I snitched together a tiny purse for all my students that later became today’s Code Red Kit. Today, young tween girls need more support than ever. One step of listening to tween girls is developing the correct size period products for their bodies. Two other ways to help are educating them at home and in the classroom to help all students understand what’s happening to 50% of the population. I encourage all of you to look into how your local schools are educating your children and how you are educating your tweens at home about one of humanity’s most important biological functions.
