Sometimes, we have to be strong and make the best decisions for our business. Whatever we’re doing, we need to prioritize either learning or cash flow. Even when something isn’t generating immediate cash, it should not take away from the little we’re using to support our families. Sunk costs are inevitable, and sometimes they’re necessary to understand how the system works. I’m open to offering project management and engineering services consultancy, and I’m also open to employment roles. However, I’m not interested in business development and marketing roles that require significant effort without upfront payments. Selah and Peace. ✌️ #BusinessDecisions #CashFlow #ProjectManagement #EngineeringServices #BIZVILLEPM #GeorgeNWOGU #Nigeria

I'm not looking to be hired for what I know. I'm looking to be hired for my ability to figure it out. You already have a lot of expertise in your business. Your people are your knowledge. My goal is to help you harness that knowledge effectively and change the game of your business. For example - last week someone asked me if I help with scheduling. While scheduling isn't my specialty, I realized that my value lies in my ability to facilitate process discussions, identify gaps, and assess opportunities for improvement. Instead of coming in and telling everyone how they should be scheduling (and losing all credibility), here's how I can help: - Facilitate Process Discussion and Design - By collaborating with your team, I uncover the nuances, milestones, and factors that shape your scheduling process. From there, I help document and streamline these processes, ensuring consistency and efficiency. - Leverage Data to Assess Current State - I offer my expertise in analytics to assess your current scheduling performance, identify trends, and pinpoint areas for improvement. - Identify Best Practices - Together with your experts, we delve into the root causes of any delays and develop actionable strategies to mitigate them. Ultimately, my goal is not just to provide quick fixes but to facilitate a culture of continuous improvement within your organization. By harnessing collective expertise and data-driven insights, we can drive sustainable growth and success. #ProblemSolver #BusinessOperations #DataAnalytics #ContinuousImprovement #Efficiency #Innovation ------------------------------------- 👋 Hi, I'm Sam and I want to help construction businesses spend less time on the manual/admin work and focus on the more complex aspects of their projects. 🚀 Connect & follow for insights and proactive strategies to boost profits through process optimization! 📋 Let's discuss how we can streamline your construction operations and enable scalability. DM me to set up a chat!

The cost of hiring a forecasting professional can vary widely based on factors such as their experience, the complexity of the project, and the specific industry. Here are some general estimates: Entry-Level Forecasters: Around \$50,000 to \$70,000 per year. Mid-Level Forecasters: Approximately \$70,000 to \$100,000 per year. Senior Forecasters: Can range from \$100,000 to \$150,000+ per year. For specialized projects or consulting services, rates can be higher and might be charged on a per-project basis rathery.

In the business world, companies often look for business analysts and project managers who are ready to handle changes and tricky situations. But what makes clients pick certain people for their contract job? Let me share three key things clients really want to see: 🔍 **Clear Understanding:** Clients love it when everything they expect is clearly listed in the contract. This means what you'll do, what you'll deliver, and what everyone should expect from the start. When everything is spelled out, it prevents confusion later. A well-defined job list shows you know exactly what the client wants. 🤝 **Room to Move:** Things can change as a project goes on, and clients like contracts that are a bit flexible. Being able to deal with changes without slowing the project down is a sign of a good professional. So, how you handle changes, make shifts in the project, and improve things bit by bit is really important. 📊 **Focus on Results:** Clients don't just pay for your time; they are looking for real results. Contracts that tie payments to reaching certain goals are more appealing because they show you are moving forward and are committed. This also makes it easier for clients to see what they are getting for their money. In short, a business analyst or project manager should write their contracts with clear terms, a willingness to adapt, and a focus on getting things done. These points make for a strong work relationship and lead to project success. #BusinessAnalysis #ProjectManagement #ContractStrategy

What keeps you on your job? I used to stay quite long in a role with a bank before I moved on to another role with the same bank or to another bank despite at times, I did not get satisfactory increment/salary or I missed the opportunity for promotion. What keeps me on the job 🤔 ? In the early years, I designed and developed application systems using the waterfall method and it took months to implement the solution. I stayed to see the implementation. It was like seeing the birth of a child for each system implemented. That kept me on the job 😍! When I moved on to re-engineering, I stayed to see the implementation of the proposal to re-engineer/transform or automate the functions. That took months. It was like seeing how the new house looked after renovation. That kept me on the job 😀 ! I moved on to project management. It took months to implement a project. I had to deal with issues, people, and timeline. I stayed to see the completion of the projects and to add that achievement to my CV. That kept me on the job 😀! I moved on to risk management. I became the one who could provide advice on operational risk matters. I was the one to determine if an arrangement to be classified as outsourcing. I was the one to manage risk application implementation. I was also the one to conduct training. I was kept so busy and I felt I was adding so much value. I was also learning on the job. That kept me on the job 😀! Is that one way to keep your staff member in your team😃? That works on me - finding job satisfaction and always looking forward to see the results of my hard work! What keeps you on your job? #Banking #Consulting #Jobsatisfaction #technology #reengineering #transformation #projectmanagement #riskmanagement #retainstaff #recruitment

🌟 Exciting News! 🌟 Happy Sunday! As the week starts, my search continues. As a seasoned project manager with over 15 years of experience in managing complex projects and driving operational excellence, I'm thrilled to explore new opportunities in utility contract management! 🚀 🔍 Here's what I bring to the table (besides snacks for the team meetings): Expertise in Contract Analysis and Management: Skilled in analyzing contract language, ensuring timely renewals and terminations, and maintaining accurate documentation. (Because who doesn’t love a good contract renewal letter?) Proficient in Documentation and Information Management: Experienced in updating contract databases, preparing reports, and managing departmental documentation. (I even have a favorite spreadsheet format. Yes, I'm that person.) Strong Problem Resolution Skills: Adept at identifying discrepancies in contracts and invoices, resolving issues efficiently, and liaising with vendors. (Think of me as the Sherlock Holmes of contract discrepancies.) Technical Administration: Proficient in troubleshooting computer issues, managing invoices, and providing technical support to department associates. (Basically, I'm the go-to person when the Wi-Fi acts up.) Collaborative Leader: Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams, enhancing communication, and driving high-impact outcomes. (Teamwork makes the dream work, right?) In my previous roles, I've successfully led high-value projects generating $50M+ annually, cut supply chain costs by 40%, and increased revenue by 30%. Now, I'm eager to leverage my skills and expertise in a challenging hybrid role in utility contract management. 💼 If you know of any opportunities or have insights on how I can further advance my career in this field, I'd love to connect and chat! Let's work together to achieve great things (and maybe share a few laughs along the way). 🌟 Please share this post with your network for more reach! #ProjectManagement #ContractManagement #UtilityContracts #JobSeeker #CareerGrowth #ProfessionalDevelopment #HumorInTheWorkplace
