Clarum provides AI-powered due diligence solutions for fast, transparent, and reliable insights from a firm's entire data repository. Firms can import data for their VDRs, upload diligence questionnaires, and get hundreds of transparent, traceable answers in minutes. Clarum uses an internal search and answering engine that quickly and accurately finds data, such as a chart from a PDF, a table from a spreadsheet, or a critical number from a presentation. Clarum's mission is to extract meaningful quantitative insights from extensive unstructured private data. The founders, Anton Otaner and Tommy He, met via a mutual friend at McGill University. They knew that they'd be a great team after winning first place in their university’s hackathon and after many late nights working together. Before Clarum, Anton was a blockchain engineer at Mint where he worked on scalable blockchain solutions; Tommy worked on low-latency market connections and trade execution at Tower Research Capital.
