City of Toronto’s Post

Today, Mayor Olivia Chow and Toronto City Council celebrated the incredible teamwork of City staff, agencies and partners who ensured Taylor Swift’s six sold-out Toronto shows ran as smoothly and ‘swiftly’ as possible for residents and visitors. This monumental effort in partnership with Rogers Centre showcased collaboration, flexibility and a shared commitment to creating a positive experience during Toronto’s Version of the Eras Tour. Beyond operational excellence, the tour left an incredible legacy: 🎵 $282M in estimated economic impact 🎵 $216,000 donated to Daily Bread Food Bank from the Taylor Swift Way street sign auctions, with thanks to our partners at Rogers Communications for their generosity. Congratulations, everyone. You truly showed that Toronto’s Era was one of the best.
