As you catch up on clips of the Olympic breakers – from Ami to Raygun – you might be asking: how is it even possible to score an artistic sport like breaking? Well, have I got a podcast for you. Just before the final Olympic battle, we dropped an episode about how the judging system works, and how it came to be. It’s also the story of two legendary breakers and their quest to grow the sport without sacrificing its soul. Gold medals to Jeff Guo, Emma Peaslee, Alexi Horowitz-Ghazi, and Sierra Juarez.

It was a pleasure creating the cover art for Katie Traxton's new Good Vibes Only Talent podcast, Anatomy of an Agency. If you've ever been curious about what goes on in the world of talent management, make sure you subscribe and give it a listen! #TalentManagement #TalentAgency #Marketing #InfluencerMarketing #SportsMarketing #Sponsorship #Partnerships #BrandPartnerships #podcast #newpodcast #podcasting #SportandEntertainment #Sport #Talent #Influencers #Content #ContentCreators
I have some actual news! Just in time for our third birthday Good Vibes Only Talent has its own podcast Anatomy of an Agency: https://lnkd.in/eB8pPupb There are over 5 million podcasts in the world so it wasn’t the odds of cut through that inspired us. Instead, we wanted to share first-hand insight into talent management - the good, the bad and everything in between. Episode 1 opens with Olympians Tonia Couch, Tom Bosworth and Heather Fisher as they head to Paris 2024 - for the first time working instead of competing! As with all my best output, very little of its merit has anything to do with me, so I need to thank the many brains behind the operation: - Helen Tupper for constant support, guidance and reminding me that agency marketing is part of my job (!) - Heather Fisher OLY, owner of the original brainwave - Claire Bates who masterminded the conversion of my spare room into a podcast studio - Ant Jackson who designed the COOLEST pod cover art ever! - Everyone who’s agreed to be victim to my questioning on air - And Jack Nicholls because without his exceptional production and editing skills, we would have nothing other than a nice idea, a beautifully decorated room and some epic artwork. I’m happy to accept any reflected glory, but mainly really really need listeners 👀, interaction and feedback to make it even better, since I kinda hope it’s here to stay. Three years. On we go!! Next stop Paris 🇫🇷 #podcasting #newpodcast #newpodcastalert #talentmanagement

When trying to balance speed of delivery with the need to reduce risk of “getting it wrong”, using the Research Prioritization Matrix can be a useful tool for product teams to: 1. define the level of user research required (if any) to gain enough confidence that they are solving the right problem in the right way 2. communicate the trade offs and reasoning to stakeholders 3. Reduce bias due to external pressures and personal risk tolerance to better serve the desired business outcome

Listening to Lenny Rachitsky's podcast episode with Marty Cagan (the one of many that I love!) and trying to shower my kids after a swim at the local pool, led me to write too many words about: - How to decide what is the right level of user research required for the problem you are trying to solve - How product managers and product designers can make better decisions when balancing speed of delivery and risk, and; - How simple, low investment tests can make a big difference (and prevent water wasting) https://lnkd.in/gCwfQCi8 I'm writing as part of my own learning journey, and would love to learn about what different or better approaches others have been using to address the challenge of balancing speed with risk/confidence. If you don't mind sharing from your experience, please do!

**Replacement post with correct link** Latest Mishpacha Magazine Fourcast, in which I ~compellingly show swing state religious Jews how Trump is now taking religious /Christians/ for granted b/c he thinks they now have nowhere else to go. This week we also introduce the magic of reading listener mail in the show - an homage to NPR's Wait Wait and CarTalk - two shows that air/ed originally on Saturdays, so I suspect few of our listeners will recognize that we're cribbing from them. Theoretically, they /could/ do what I do and listen after Saturday, but as a media expert I can tell you that the Venn Diagram of Mishpacha readers and NPR listeners are two almost entirely-separate circles, with me and like 35 other people max in common between them. The Fearless Prediction from me at the end is superniche, even for me, and hopefully lands better with listeners than it looked when I typed and then deleted it here. Maury Litwack, Eli Steinberg and Binyamin Rose's predictions are pretty fearless, too! Watch and savor this now, go back and watch/listen to previous matchups - our next podcast doesn't drop until a week from now in the middle of Sukkot. Listen wherever you get podcasts, or watch on Youtube below. https://lnkd.in/eSyzcVmS Hat tip to Rabbi Dr. Aaron Ross for flagging the error in the previous version of this post, which reminds me that I still owe you a response from last year.
