How do you turn plumbers and HVAC pros into the life of the party? Hand them the mic—literally. Saturday’s crowd: Plumbing and heating pros and their families. A mix of ages, genders, and experience levels. Our mission? Facilitate an unforgettable experience. Here’s what we figured out: #1 Kick things off with some industry trivia: "In 1930, what was the most popular Toilet Paper 🧻 substitute?" 📜 Sears and Roebuck Catalog 📜 Farmer’s Almanac 🌽 Corn Cobs (Answer: All were used, but Farmer's Almanac wins: It even had a nail hole for hanging by the commode!) #2 Keep participation optional, but make it hard to resist. ✅ Let teams pick their stage-ready stars. ✅ Encourage contestants to pull in others with hidden talents. #3 Add some friendly competition, but keep it light. The big finale? Grinch Karaoke, with the audience voting for the winner. 🎤 When the audience becomes the entertainment, that’s when the magic really happens. The ultimate reward? Hearing, “This was the best holiday party ever!” Big sigh of relief—and a ton of gratitude. 👏 What’s your go-to tip for creating an unforgettable corporate holiday party? 189 Words

Would you visit the most haunted cities in the UK? 👻 As we start to embrace the spooky season, our horror movie binges leave us looking over our shoulders, wondering how many ghosts are with us right now… Our latest campaign explored the realm beyond the grave by tapping into regional data to reveal the most haunted cities in the UK. So far, this campaign has secured links on multiple sites, including Daily Record, Secret London and Yahoo! Check out the methodology 👇 🔎 First, we scoured the internet to find the number of paranormal reports for each location ⚰️ Then, we dug into the number of cemeteries and memorials in the area 🏚️ Next, we attained the number of vacant properties in the area 🏠 We then specced up how many properties are more than 100 years old 📊 Finally, we found each location's population figures to normalise our data to per 10,000 people Why did it work? 🤔 🎃 It's timely, using Halloween as a hook was incredibly valuable and creating it well before Halloween meant we could get ahead of the Halloween content rush. 🎯 Exclusive regional data allowed us to have a laser focus on our outreach targets to ensure we were hitting the right journalists with the relevant story. 📰 The variety of angles for the campaign made it appealing to a variety of sectors including property, travel, local news, lifestyle and more.

Because I know someone needs to see this: Every year, I get holiday cards addressed to The Chambers’—and that’s just…wrong. So, here’s your last name punctuation PSA for correctly addressing those holiday cards. 🎁 To pluralize family names that end in most letters, just add -s. ✔️ Leonard → the Leonards Easy peasy. No need for apostrophes—plain and simple. BUT… To pluralize names ending in S, X, Z, CH, or SH, you need to add -es at the end. ✔️ Chambers → the Chamberses ✔️ Fox → the Foxes ✔️ Lopez → the Lopezes ✔️ Birch → the Birches ✔️ Marsh → the Marshes A good rule of thumb: If adding just an -s sounds awkward or weird, add -es instead. Still no apostrophes! 😅 So, if I’m sending a note to the Sanchez family, it would look like this: 💌 To: The Sanchezes ❣️ Love, The Chamberses Or, if you want to avoid remembering any rules at all, just go with: “The Chambers Family” and “The Sanchez Family.” No fuss, no stress. Hope that helps! ✌️
