When we started an official CX practice a few years ago we, admittedly, struggled with the idea of this being an actual practice. “It’s just what we do” we said, “you can’t monetize a good customer experience.” But it turns out we were wrong and you can - and should. People dedicated to making sure customers are happy - after - they buy something, without selling them anything else isn’t a novel idea; it’s just one not regularly practiced. And monetizing it simply means people expand and renew - it means they like your service and want to stick with you. So winning this is rewarding in so many ways - it means that in addition to having great technical and sales teams, we have great operations teams whose jobs are simply to make and keep customers happy. Change is hard but it is possible - even 60+ years in. A customer-centric mindset is woven in our DNA and we’re honored to have been recognized for this.
