In our roles as HR Professionals, we hold immense power to shape the trajectories of individuals within our organizations. Today, let's talk about the transformative impact of training managers to support employees before resorting to termination. It's easy to fall into the trap of seeing termination as the quick fix for performance issues. But what if we shifted our focus? As a team we did an exercise to see what working in the sweet spot of comfort zone with some stretch looked like for us. And also what moving to the wrong end of stretch and into burn out looked like for us. Helping your teams know their ‘sweet spot’ and also recognising when things are starting to get too much is vital. But providing them with the space to honestly share their concerns, knowing they are genuinely supported is where the magic happens.
