Last month, we had the privilege of hosting an event with Grant a Gift Autism Foundation - Ackerman Center at SkyVu. All of the proceeds from this event were donated to the Grant A Gift Autism Foundation, Nevada's leading non-profit provider of multidisciplinary clinical care and services for families affected by autism spectrum disorder, fetal alcohol spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental disabilities. The funds raised will be used to assist in their efforts to provide necessary support services, clinical care, therapy and social programming for individuals and families living with neurodevelopmental disabilities. Thank you to all of our brand partners that made this event possible including STITCHED, Neon Photobooth, YSL, Sky Diamonds, James Paul Cheung Designs, Raygoza Tequila & Gina Cueto Jewelry. We could not have done this without you!

Our top priority is to expand and innovate to serve more individuals and families in need. We've come far in 20 years, but the need for lifetime support is enormous. We must meet the demand for services that grow as our children grow up into adulthood. Living, leisure, learning, and earning are all critical areas we are poised and ready to address. As a grassroots, parent-led organization, we rely on community support to operate. Where will we be in 20 years without family and community involvement? Families rely on AutismUp programs and support, and we need everyone's help to ensure they remain available. Imagine the possibilities we can create with your involvement! This is where your support becomes crucial. We have a monumental challenge to raise $100,000 towards our KiteFlite Fundraising Challenge by August 11, 2024, in honor of our 20th anniversary. A gift of any amount will go a long way in helping us achieve this goal and make a tangible impact on the lives of those affected by autism now. Your immediate support will help us expand programs and services for all ages and lead a comprehensive housing analysis for individuals with autism and I/DD in Rochester. Please consider donating to a formed KiteFlite Team, or creating your own team to fundraise for AutismUp within your #Community and #Network https://lnkd.in/eSaW-X8z Your support is an investment in a more inclusive and supportive future for individuals with autism. #DonateToday #HelpFamiliesSOAR #CommunityStrong

🚨 A Life-Altering Moment for Raj—A Call for Compassion 🚨 Imagine being in police custody—handcuffed, surrounded by loud noises, and unable to communicate your fear. Now, imagine going through all that with autism. This was Raj’s reality. Raj, a young man with autism, was overwhelmed, terrified, and unable to cope in an environment that didn’t understand his unique needs. Officers struggled to calm him, unknowingly escalating his anxiety. The situation was spinning out of control. Until we stepped in. At BloomBuds ASD Life Trust (BALT), we believe in transforming fear into compassion. Our team trained the officers in proven techniques—calm environments, reduced noise, and clear, slow communication. This approach made all the difference. Raj felt safe. He was understood. The crisis was averted. But this is just one story. There are thousands of Rajs out there—waiting for someone to understand. You can help us make that difference. 🌟 Donation Link: https://lnkd.in/gzqqXtRs Your donation can: Fund critical autism training for police and first responders 👮♂️ Create sensory-friendly spaces in high-stress environments 🛋️ Support families and individuals with autism through direct interventions 💙 🌐 Donate now and be part of a movement that champions compassion over confusion, understanding over fear. #AutismAdvocacy #CompassionInAction #BloomBuds #InclusionNow #SupportAutism #DonateForChange #MakeADifference

𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺 – 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗩𝗮𝗻 – 𝗠𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 March is National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, a time to celebrate inclusion and independence for all. All Things Possible Medical Fundraising helps by providing wheelchair vans to families in North and South Carolina. These vans are lifelines for people who rely on wheelchairs. Imagine the freedom of getting to therapy appointments, doctor visits, or even just a trip to the park. Wheelchair vans remove transportation barriers, allowing individuals to participate in activities that improve health and well-being. Regular therapy can significantly enhance mobility and independence, but without accessible transportation, these crucial appointments become impossible. By supporting All Things Possible, you directly impact the lives of people with disabilities. Your contribution helps them reach their full potential and experience a more fulfilling life. This month, and all year round, visit www.allthingspossible.org to learn how to apply for a life-changing van. If you would like to help, click the Donate button to donate. Consider setting up an automatic monthly donation. You can also create a Tribute donation in memory of a loved one.
