Cygnet Aviation Academy LP is excited to announce the hiring of Chief Flight Instructor, Nick Taylor. As a Class 1 Instructor, Mr. Taylor brings over 35 years of aviation experience and expertise in Canadian and international aviation regulations. He joins Cygnet after 21 years with Transport Canada as Civil Aviation Safety Inspector and, for the last 10 years, Technical Team Lead, Flight Operations in the Ontario Region.    Mr. Taylor’s experience is far reaching, having represented Transport Canada Civil Aviation on the International Working Group on Simulation and as an advisor to the International Operations Branch and Air Policy and Trade Policy directorates. Prior to his work with Transport Canada, Mr. Taylor held progressive positions and consultancy roles throughout Ontario within the aviation sector.    As Chief Flight Instructor at Cygnet, Mr. Taylor will utilize his deep industry experience and knowledge to oversee our talented team of flight instructors, while ensuring regulatory compliance and industry-leading safety standards.
