This is a great example of Chelmsford College and a local employer working together to meet local training needs. Feeling proud to have worked with Louise Manning and Laser Electrical to make this happen. There are some simple key takeaways: 1.     The employer was willing to invest in their people and understand the potential return on investment. 2.     We spent time understanding the requirements and invited the employer to be involved in the co-design. 3.     The delivery schedule / times offer the flexibility that the construction industry needs. 4.     We developed a mix of qualifications, delivered in a modular format and maximised our funding streams to engineer value for the employer. 5.     We already had and continue to build a bank of specialist associates that can provide us with capability to deliver certain areas of curriculum. 6. Being prepared to sometimes deliver aspects that might not fit into a qualification, standard or funding steam. Chelmsford College #construction #leadership #training

I can personally attest to the success that comes from these pathways. Currently, I am on the journey to further development through the Level 6 Graduateship in Leadership and Management, which has already helped shape my strategic thinking and leadership capabilities. 📈 What makes these opportunities even more accessible is the Sea Cadet Corps. By volunteering, you can embark on both the RYA and City & Guilds pathways with ease! The Sea Cadets offer an incredible platform to gain hands-on experience in waterborne activities and develop leadership through structured courses and real-world scenarios. 🚤👩✈️ For anyone passionate about personal growth, I highly recommend exploring both RYA and City & Guilds certifications. THIS is what I learned arriving early for training at Cedarville University: This year I will be serving as Cedarville University’s sophomore class, vice president and with this role and the opportunity to come to campus early and go through training with the rest of the class council and SGA team. What I learned: ✅How to lead Traditionally leader looks like a pyramid with the leader on top and everyone else below. Foundations presented the idea of a tree with the roots being our core values, the trunk the “full time” staff team, and the leaves and branches being the team. The leader is in this picture as a farmer who stewards the tree and helps it grow. ✅Performance culture “Culture eats strategy for breakfast” - Peter Drucker. Establishing an excellent culture will pay ever increasing dividends in your business or organization. ✅Importance of core values The roots to culture and how you operate. The core values that ever team member share builds the foundation, establishes the roots, and allows for the possibility of a culture to form. Core values are essential in every organization.
