Want to save yourself a bit of time and money at Christmas? Pick a colour for the gift wrap for each person in your immediate family and only wrap their presents in that colour. For example, red for Dad/Husband/Partner, blue for Child 1, green for Child 2, gold for Mum/Wife/Partner, etc. It saves you time - you don't have to write many gift cards with the same message. It saves you money - you don't have to buy gift cards!! Of course, you can use the same colours for other family members and pop a gift card on them (I'm not suggesting you need to find 10x different-coloured wrapping paper!). #ChristmasTips

Beware of gift card draining! If you are buying last minute gift cards for holiday gift giving, inspect the package carefully before paying for it. Scammers are opening the packing of gift cards, taking the information, then watching online for the card to be activated. Then they drain the balance before the gift recipient has time to use the card. #scamalert

Searching for gifts for the upcoming holidays, I wanted to give my sister and brother-in-law an experience—something special at a local restaurant in their new city. I found a few perfect spots that were walkable, dog-friendly, and had great reviews. But I ran into a problem; there wasn’t an option to buy gift cards online. Two out of three didn’t return my messages, and the other only offered gift cards in person. I’m across the country, so that wasn’t the option I was looking for. It got me thinking—how often do businesses lose eager customers due to unnecessary barriers? The same goes for therapy clinics. Patients often do their research or come through a referral, ready to book. But if online scheduling isn’t an option, they might look elsewhere. Make it easy for them. Offer convenience, remove barriers, and help them start their care journey smoothly. It’s a small change that can make a big difference. Lesson learned: Conveinence matters.. and so do online gift cards! 🎁😅
