It's Friday ladies!!! I've been 'Fridaying' from yesterday. My boys are off, and they are surely reminding me of finding the balance between work and play. I wanted to work, they wanted to play, and from the video, you can see what won...lololol. This July, I am dedicating a few hours in the morning to work on my business, and the rest of the day to enjoy time with them, and indulging in some self-care. Here are 5 ways we can prioritize our needs and well-being this weekend to ensure we have a refreshing and fulfilling one: 🕶 Plan Self-Care Time Schedule time for activities that rejuvenate. I am giving myself a mini-facial tomorrow with an abundance of serums and a charcoal spa treatment mask to top it all off. 🩱 Declutter Our Spaces A clean and organized space can help clear our minds and create a peaceful atmosphere. Nothing makes me want to clean a bathroom more than the addition of new bathroom rugs and towels....😁. 💥Set Boundaries Decide on some “no work” hours over the weekend. Let family and friends know when you’ll be offline or in relax mode, so you can truly relax without interruptions. 🗒 Make a Gratitude List Reflect on the week and write down three things you’re grateful for. This simple practice can boost your mood and set a positive tone for the weekend. 🍍 Plan Healthy Meals Take a moment to plan nutritious and delicious meals for the weekend. Eating well can significantly impact your energy levels and overall well-being. Start small. I ordered my pressed fruit juices for the week, and I will have one for breakfast every morning. 🌼 Which of these do you see yourself committing to this weekend to prioritize you? You deserve it! 🌟💪 #WeekendWellness #SelfCare #WomenEmpowerment #HealthyLiving #BalanceAndWellbeing #PrioritizeYourself #summerreset #thelegacytraininglab

Here are three tips to help you enjoy the holiday with balance and gratitude: 🌱 1. Practice Mindful Eating: Take time to savor each bite! Eating slowly and mindfully can help you enjoy your meal more and prevent overindulgence. Appreciate the flavors, textures, and the effort that went into creating each dish. 🌱 2. Embrace Gratitude: Before your meal, take a moment to reflect on what you’re thankful for. Gratitude can shift your mindset, lift your mood, and help you enjoy the present moment. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, a day filled with family, food, and gratitude—but it can also come with stress and expectations. Before the holiday rush begins, take a moment today for a quick wellbeing check-in: 🧠 Mind: What’s one thing you’re grateful for this year? Reflecting on even the smallest of joys can shift your mindset and boost your mood. 💪 Body: Are you taking time to move? A 10-minute walk or stretch can help reduce pre-holiday tension and set a calm tone for the day ahead. 💤 Rest: Tonight, aim for a good night’s sleep. It’s easy to overlook, but quality sleep is the foundation for enjoying tomorrow’s festivities with a clear mind and a calm heart. Remember, wellbeing doesn’t take a holiday—it’s an everyday practice. Take care of yourself today, so you can be fully present with your loved ones tomorrow. 👉 And if this content resonated with you, consider signing up for my newsletter, 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑊𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑏𝑒𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐸𝑞𝑢𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛, at the link here: https://lnkd.in/e677QqkM. Breaking the all or nothing mentality this Christmas. The festive season is pretty magical, but it can also feel like a tug of war at the best of times between enjoying yourself and actually staying on top of your health. You might be thinking, I’ll just start fresh in January. But what if I told you that small and consistent efforts now are far more effective than striving for perfection. Maybe it is time to ditch the extremes and embrace balance. Scroll down for more ⬇️ 1️⃣ Take Daily Walks The simplest habits are often the most powerful. A short walk during the day can do wonders for your mood. Plus it’s a great way to soak in the festive spirit. Even a short walk through nature can really leave you feeling refreshed and grounded. 2️⃣ Build Balance and Include Treats You don’t have to avoid festive foods to stay healthy. You could instead just focus on having a good balance. Pair those indulgent treats with nutrient packed foods and think colourful vegetables, lean proteins and even whole grains. 3️⃣ Prioritise Hydration and Rest It’s easy to forget the basics but staying hydrated and getting quality sleep are game changers. If you can stay hydrated through the day it will help feel more energised, while good sleep sets you up to handle whatever the day throws your way. 4️⃣ Progress Not Perfection Did you manage to get in a training session. Did you add a serving of greens to your dinner. Did you decide not to have that second helping. Well celebrate those wins! They may seem small, but they compound into big results over time. At Sam Laurence Coaching, we have spent years helping busy professionals create sustainable wellness goals that fit seamlessly into their lives, even during the most challenging of times and without ever having to pin back the good food. This year, give yourself the gift of balance as you deserve to enjoy your life without ever needing to sacrificing everything. If you’re ready to break the all or nothing mentality then visit our website to learn more and see how you can get ahead.
