Freelance Consultant - focusing on Organisational and Leadership Development

Love this snippet. It makes me wonder how this can be done in the NHS for people working in a hybrid / remote fashion when accommodation in some places is so poor and money for snacks is non existent.  My advice is to focus on collaboration and the human aspects. Loneliness contributes to death and illness as much as smoking or obesity (it’s true, look at the studies). As a leader, your job is to create a team that functions well, and wants to develop and make their service the best it can be. Getting together, to review progress and plan ahead is an essential part of that.  Don’t skip face to face time together, put your “in the office” on, ignore your emails for the day, and genuinely collaborate!  PS. The best teams I work with, feed each other, especially when the team is diverse and is representative of many different cultures. Food brings people together!  P.P.S Want to see this done well in the public sector. Shout me! I have a client who has taken agile working extremely seriously and would be happy to share their approach.
