If I read "proven track record" or "results-driven" one more time...I’m gonna 🤯 Well, not really 😂...but it's hard not to scroll past them because so many LinkedIn bios say the same thing (free alternative ideas below - keep reading)! These corporate buzzwords have been used so often they have no meaning. They don’t stand out. They don’t say anything, and they're forgettable. I remember leading a project for an event where my job was to edit 75+ executive bios, and you know what? Less than five were worthy of remembrance if I took the names off them. Not because the leader wasn’t great at their job, but because their words weren’t. If you don't know what else to say in your bio or on your profile, here are some ideas to hurdle over the noise and stand out. PLEASE STEAL THEM and make them yours! -"I simplify chaotic projects, break down roadblocks, and get teams across the finish line ahead of schedule." -"I cut 30% of wasted time by slashing unnecessary meetings and automating routine status updates." -"I consistently lead teams to hit 120% of quarterly revenue targets by finding overlooked markets or streamlining underused sales channels." -"I spot untapped potential in teams and processes, turning overlooked ideas into strategies that boost margins by 10-15%." -"I turn underperforming teams into top achievers by overhauling how they prioritize daily goals and delegate tasks." I hope you found this helpful!
Oh wow! This is so helpful. I’m definitely going to revise my resume
