Here's the latest information on states and counties experiencing delays: 📍 Colorado: CO ‘Clean Slate Act’ effective July 1, 2024: Arrest records without convictions will be sealed automatically. Certain convictions will be sealed after a specified time if no new crimes are committed. Violent crimes are exempt and will still be reported in full. 📍 Ohio: Cuyahoga County and Lyndhurst Municipal Courts are updating their case management systems, expect delays. 📍 Nevada: Carson City County: Short staffed, expect delays of 7-10 business days. Washoe County - Incline Village Township: Delays of 7-14 days. 📍 Tennessee: Marion County Clerk: Extended absence causing delays. 📍 Texas: Bexar County: Merging court records into a single portal, causing delays. Jefferson County: Transitioning to a new system, no ETA on delays. 📍 General Court Delays: Arizona: Gila County taking six weeks. California: All counties have removed personal identifying information, causing delays. Los Angeles County: Significant delays, but improvements are underway. It is Whistleblowers awareness week this week in the UK. One tip from me to those tasked with conducting interviews with whistleblowers to fully understand their disclosure. If, in advance of the interview, you are handed a lengthy document written by a whistleblower detailing what they want to disclose, then they have likely spent a lot of time preparing it, and experienced a lot of emotions before submitting it, so please don't ignore the document and start your interview with making them tell you what they have already written all over again. Use the written disclosure as their first account, and use the time to work from that to gain the necessary detail you need to seek to corroborate their disclosure #whistleblower #hr #employment

Poll Results from a question I asked here on LI last week. Question - How many case studies does your agency currently have? The majority of agencies (71%) have less than 10 case studies to go to market with. Given all of the roles and work that agencies do, this feels super low. Less than 5 - 45% 5 - 10 - 26% 10+ - 18% Never enough - 11% Case studies are not often seen as high value by consultants to seek out and it's often left to marketing to beg and plead to consultants for ideas of who to contact to explore the potential of a case study. Well we are going to fix that with a new feature we are going to build and release next month on Recruiter Insider. I've spoken to a few people about this new feature and all have been super positive about it and it's value and ease to use.
