“The more unique you do things, the more of a reason you should exist. We exist because we do something differently than someone else. If someone else did something exactly the same as us, then our necessity for existing is not quite there, right?” On this episode of Honest Ecommerce, we have Kristen Pumphrey and Thomas Neuberger. Kristen and Thomas are the co-owners of California-based fragrance brand, P.F. Candle Co. and authors of “At Home with Fragrance.”. We talk about setting yourself apart to create business value, preparing for competitive Ecommerce sales, finding motivation from team successes, and so much more! Brand strategy is incredibly important for businesses of all sizes. However, to be effective, you need strong, quantifiable data from your customers. Peter Sandor, CEO of Melbourne based, Fearless Brand Strategy & Creative Communications, explains how his company provides third-party research for their clients, so that they can successfully probe deeper into the minds of their customers, and uncover how their client's customers truly feel. In his example, Peter tells us how his team successfully improved the relationships between his client, Accolade Wines, and retail sellers Sainsbury's, Tesco and Coop. Have a watch of the below clip from Peter's guest appearance on our Marketing For The Modern Brand podcast, hosted by Didier Le Miere. https://lnkd.in/g-uCazxh #modernmarketing #brandstrategy

Stop scrolling X and instead focus on building a profitable business. That was my takeaway after chatting with Ovadia on episode 22 of Don't VLOOKUP I liked his framework to get there. Set a new customer ROAS target of 1.8. Increase spend and spend maximum dollars until ROAS ends up at 1.8. If it falls below 1.8 decrease ad spend until it ends up at 1.8. Simple, but effective. In the episode, we discussed other tactics for building a profitable brand, contribution margin-driven acquisition, and building an authentic brand. Our CEO, Izzy Rosenzweig, recently sat down with Taylor Borenstein and Millie Blumka, founders of Stakt. They discussed how they launched their mat, optimized it based on customer feedback, and maintained supply simultaneously. They also shared their journey of starting Stakt, how it came to be, and what the future holds for the brand. Listen to the full episode here: https://lnkd.in/gMUxNBAA
