We recently held our first HMO open day and it was a huge success. A week in the life of a property manager 📝 We've recently took on another two HMO's providing our fully managed service for an investor who wants a hands free investment so they have more time to spend with their family and concentrate on growing their portfolio. When taking on new HMO's we always try to be on site and available as much as possible for the first week or so.🏠 It helps build rapport with tenants and allows us to tell them about who we are and what our intentions are. They were interested in Mansha The Heritage at the market price but negotiations on discounts fell through. Despite our best efforts, the deal was broken by an outsider’s false promises. *🔄 The Return* Three months later, the investors returned, requesting the same plot sizes at the old rates. We knew this wasn't feasible. However, with patience and persistence, we re-shared our vision and urged them to invest at the current market price, assuring them of the project's potential. *Major Learnings* *👪 Family-Centric Decisions* This time, the deal succeeded because only family members and we, as consultants, were involved. No third parties created unnecessary complications.
