The next few months will focus on North America for Ayton Global Research. Three key events are coming up in May: 1-2 May 2024 New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists Suppliers Day 30-31 May 2024 White Label Shows New York 12-13 June 2024 TRI Princeton 11th International Conference on Applied Hair Science Ayton has commissioned an international survey: Dry shampoo is the focus of this study, and it acts as an example of how this research can be applied to one particular genre of haircare, and how it could be rolled out to other SKU’s.  Panel selection, study design, questionnaire design and the interpretation of the results of this international study will be covered along with time for questions.  The study will include participants from Australia, North America, South America, China, India, Middle East and UK Jeffrey Plowman of AgResearch is one of the first confirmed Speakers, along with David Taylor Emeritus Professor of Materials Engineering at Trinity College Dublin. Wow! Time flies when you are really focusing and doing the meaningful things especially in med device industry. Last week I marked my 3 year anniversary in Boston Scientific, several things were achieved as subject matter expert (SME) in polymers and I would like to highlight few of them: 1. Always have a mindset: Advancing science for "Life" and being passionate about it. 2. Tied close to business that focused on sustainability and always helped prevent backorders and line down issues 3. Filed 44 provisional patent applications including coating formulation, advanced materials, and hydrogels. 7 of them have been published/ granted. 4. Successfully converted an idea from an exploratory phase to PDP phase Definitely cannot get these tremendous works done without great teams' supports. Fortunately enough to be part of these journeys. 😀

Another appointment related to #Dipharma’s collaboration with the academic world has been scheduled: “The University, National Research Council (CNR) and Industry Meeting” is the title of the conference, which will be held on June 28, in Milan, via Golgi 19. The event has been promoted by the Chemistry department of Università degli Studi di Milano, the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, and the CNR SCITEC 'Giulio Natta'. It will host various Italian entities committed to promoting #science and #chemistry, discussing some of the most current and relevant issues in scientific and technological #research. The aim of this meeting is to create points of contact between different entities and stimulate fruitful scientific interactions among the key players from the #academicworld, #CNR, and #industry. #Dipharma will contribute to this debate with a presentation by our colleague Simone Mantegazza, Research Laboratory Manager, on “The Difficult Road to Take Flow Chemistry from the Lab to the Plant”. The synergy between universities and industry is essential for #innovation and industrial #development. Universities and companies can exchange knowledge, collaborate on joint projects, and enhance graduate employability. Within the collaboration between the University of Milan and Dipharma, the potential of #flowchemistry is being explored, with a focus on commercially viable projects that are sustainable and scalable. The path to transitioning a flow chemistry project to full-scale production is not straightforward, but finding solutions is crucial to overcoming the challenges.
