I loved this article, thanks for sharing Catherine Buls (Assoc CIPD). Also wanted to highlight, hybrid working is a useful tool for ALL parents. And the more Fathers / Partners we can support in utilising this tool, the better for us all 😊

I was lucky to have a really supportive line manager when I returned from both my maternity leaves. Following Covid my role was moved to fully remote and this really allowed me to have a greater work life balance. I was also able to compress my hours by starting earlier and finishing later as I didn't have to factor in a commute, and I cant tell you how much money this saved me on childcare, gave me extra time with my boys during the week, and ultimately allowed me to stay in work! I am lucky to now work for another firm with amazing flexible working policies which allow me to balance my work and being a mum.
