After several months of transitioning back into civilian life from active duty military service, I have begun to understand why figuring out my purpose seems so difficult. My purpose has never been to only satisfy myself. I have always wanted to be a part of a team. I have always wanted to be a part of something larger than myself. I have wanted to experience what it is like to learn continuously because learning equals growth. Like many, I have realized that being stagnant in life is never something we desire. Being stuck in one place, especially places you do not want to be, is dreadful. I have put way too many restrictions on myself out of fear. I used to be so afraid of making a small mistake. I am afraid of failure. But how can you fail if you are afraid to make mistakes? If you do not become comfortable with failure, you will never know how far it can get you. Sure, you will fail time and time again. However, I've learned that my way to success is through failure. You can always make plans - but that does not always guarantee happiness. You can never plan happiness. Maybe that is why we spend most of our lives searching.

Epic teamwork, what does it mean? Is it syncing? Is it well training? Is it sensing and feeling team members? Is it trust? Is it speed actions? Is it task well addressed? In my point of view it’s all, what do you think I missed?

Humans are, by nature, social animals. That's why we care what others think of us: We want to belong, to be accepted, and to bond with other members of our social "pack." Caring about other people's opinions of us is a survival mechanism as old as humanity itself. Successful people care very much about their own opinions. Not in an arrogant, self important way but in a faith-based way. They know what they are capable of and they have strong belief systems. Remember that “we” is always greater than “me.” The team score is the only score that matters. Individual goals are only relevant as they pertain to the team goals. Shared goals, incentives, and metrics allow each individual to focus on the team instead of the self. Shared success extends beyond personal accolades, leading to profound personal growth and fulfillment. When professionals celebrate achievements collectively, they gain a sense of purpose and fulfillment that goes beyond individual accomplishments. #success #teamwork #caring

Great advice Gary 👏 KASH analysis - Knowledge - Attitude - Skill - Habit Attitude and Habit wins for me all day long (skill and knowledge are learnt)
There might be people with more talent or skill, but if your work ethic is there every single day you’ve got a great chance of overtaking them ❤️

"Positive Reinforcement Can Overcome Mistakes" A common misconception is that recognition should only be given when things go well, but appreciation during challenging times is just as important — if not more so. When employees feel appreciated during moments of struggle, they will be more motivated to bounce back and perform better. Anecdote: I once worked on a project that didn’t go as planned. Despite my best efforts, the results weren’t up to expectations. But rather than focusing on the negative, my boss sat me down and acknowledged the effort I had put in. She said, “While the outcome wasn’t what we hoped for, I really appreciate how hard you worked. Let’s figure out what we can do better next time.” That recognition in the face of failure motivated me to improve and get it right the next time. Instead of feeling defeated, I felt like I had the support I needed to try again.

This is easily the best way to keep your team motivated. And it doesn't cost anything to implement. Great thought by Rob Dance If your people feel appreciated, they will always go over an above for you. After I got married, one of my bosses let my wife and I stay at his place for 2 weeks. Because we hadn't found an apartment yet and he was going on vacation. I never forgot that. And it made me work 10 times harder in my role because I knew he appreciated me. A person who feels appreciated will ALWAYS do more than expected. Because giving starts the receiving process.
