The holidays are a time to reflect, give back, and make a difference—and we’re in the final stretch of supporting Firefly Children & Family Alliance’s Hope for the Holidays campaign. At Trustpointe, we’ve made it a tradition to fill our donation box with contributions from clients, neighbors, and friends to help families in need. Last year, this program brought joy to over 1,200 children, but there’s still work to do. 𝗔𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝟭𝟱𝟳 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗱. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽: 1. Modern donors want the giving process to be as simple as anything else online. Luckily, improving their experience doesn’t mean a complete overhaul to your website. With these two easy changes, you’ll see an unmistakable bump in donations! Learn how to improve donation conversions here: https://hubs.ly/Q02ymScQ0

Younger generations don’t care about tax breaks because of donations. If you want to attract donors who are millennials or younger, explaining tax benefits is a huge turn off. They don’t care about what they are going to get back; they care about the impact their donation will create. Rethink your communication if you are still using that messaging to younger generations.

Specificity is your friend. 🎯 In 1994, Michael Santos, a psychologist at the University of California, conducted a study of asking people for donations. Some of the researchers asked for round amounts like $1.00. Others asked for precise amounts like $0.11 or $0.87. The results? The people who asked for more specific amounts received SIXTY PERCENT more donations. 60%! Here is how you can apply specificity into your fundraising appeals before Giving Tuesday ⬇️. ❌ You have the power to feed thousands of school-aged children ✅ You have the power to feed 2,189 school-aged children ❌ Your gift of $100 will support our program ✅ Your gift of $137 will provide a month's worth of meal delivery for a family of 4 Ditch the generics and go with as much specificity as you can this end-of-year campaign season.

Let's start Monday off with a 💥: Here's 3 donation page updates that you can make today to boost conversion + fundraising $$$👇 - Adding a primary CTA for "Donate" to your nonprofit homepage can boost your donor conversion at much as 190%... and adding a "Give Monthly" CTA can boost your donations by 144% - Removing the navigation bar from your donation pages can drive as much as 195% more donations - Your donation page layout DOES matter: Donation pages with a clear value proposition for your mission can yield triple digit increases in donations and donor conversion. Bonus tip: Add a 🔒 + payment security statement under the card payment fields on your donation page to drive an additional 11% in donations. The fun part is - we're not even close to scratching the surface of how small, but powerful, updates to you mission's donation pages can make a HUGE impact. Thankfully, we've got our squad over at NextAfter joining up with us next week to work through real nonprofit donation pages and provide real-time feedback on how to level up your donation pages. Join Nathan Hill and our own Adam O'Brien next Thursday at 1PM EDT/12PM CDT as they take an hour to help level up donation pages. Register for this free event here --> https://lnkd.in/eF7TZ9Nj
