We’re back with my preferred lender, David from Moontower Mortgage, to talk about pre-approvals and how they impact credit scores 💸 Whenever I start working with a buyer, I have them get pre-approved so that once we find the right house, we can put in an offer right away. Sometimes, we aren’t able to find the right home before their pre-approval letter expires which means that the lender would have to do another credit inquiry. In reality, these inquiries don’t impact your credit very much and the better your score, the less of a hit your credit will take. Have any other questions about what it means to be pre-approved or want to learn more about the process? Send me a message and I’ll share everything you need to know!

Mortgage definitions don't have to be complicated. You can learn some of the most important terms in 10 words or less. Pretty simple, right? You've probably heard this one before when you've seen a house go into contract. The For Sale sign might say Contingent, or a lot of the houses on Realtor.com say Contingent. So, what does it mean when a house is contingent? All it means is that an offer was accepted, and the house will sell under certain conditions. It could be that the buyer needs to get financing (a mortgage), or the sale is conditional upon a home inspection coming back clean. Usually, contingencies protect either the buyer or seller from entering into a contract that's not beneficial for them. Learn more @ https://lnkd.in/exEEddKU
