Owing to the growing use of high-strength materials and advanced construction techniques, building structures have become more and more flexible and taller. The increasing height of modern tall buildings posed a series of challenges for structural engineers. In the design of such a tall building, the structural system must meet three major requirements: strength, rigidity, and stability. ARTISTA's diverse professional team deals about the Structural Analysis and Design of any building project considering all the external effects according to the National and International Building Codes to make building safe / resistant to the horizontal and vertical external loads in addition to the inherent loads of structural elements. Explore our Catalogue how we transform the ideas into reality https://lnkd.in/dwZ7n4v8 #WeAreARTISTA #StructuralEngineering #Turnkey

**Load Considerations in Structural Design**👷♂️ Load is a critical factor in the design of residential, commercial, and infrastructure buildings and services. It varies depending on the zone and environment.📚🌍 **Strength and Bearing Capacity** The load-carrying capacity of the materials used in construction is crucial to ensure the structure can safely carry the service loads and additional loads as a safety factor. 🏗 **Practical Tests and Representations** Below are practical tests and representations to determine the bearing capacity of concrete, soils, and asphalt.🚦🚧⚓️ NIKOLAOS MARSELLOS ##construction #quality #build #strong #durable #concrete #technology #production #mixdesign #quality #build

The depth of the foundation for skyscrapers is a crucial aspect of their construction because it determines the stability and safety of the building. The depth of the skyscraper Foundation depends on several factors, including the height of the building, the type of soil and rock under the site, local building codes and environmental conditions. High-rise buildings, especially skyscrapers, require deeper foundations to ensure that the structure is able to safely distribute the weight of the building through the ground. In some cases, skyscrapers are built on sites with difficult soil conditions such as fine clay or loose sand, which may require deeper foundations to reach more stable layers of soil or rock. Engineers and architects work together to conduct comprehensive studies and determine the optimal foundation design for specific site conditions. The depth of the skyscraper Foundation is a crucial aspect during the design and construction stages to ensure the long-term stability and safety of the building. Deep foundations are designed to transfer loads from the building to the ground while preventing subsidence or excessive movement, thereby ensuring the structural integrity of the skyscraper.

Food for thought - #Ethiopia Valuable lessons from the Grenfell tower incident regarding the professional training of architects. With major time spent in theoretical exercises & conceptual development, few time is allocated regarding technical detailing & the important aspect of investigating the nature of construction materials. With material specialists taking over & the architect relinquishing his/her responsibility of the proper scrutiny, the challenge goes to the point of relegating the architect to the sidelines. It's time to reconsider our educational curriculum as well as the investment in capacity building of practicing architects.

We use the latest tools for analysis and design and have a thorough understanding of Euro Codes. However, unlike many other structural engineering practices, we don’t just plug dimensions into an app and come up with an arrangement of beams and columns that take no account of the existing building. It's not just a load! The discipline we apply is to design in three dimensions and always make use of the existing structure. This means that we rarely need to use deep steel beams or box frames which so often compromise the original design intent or damage important historic fabric. Our structural designs are often easier and cheaper to construct and make less use of expensive and energy-intensive materials such as steel and concrete. Our approach also ensures that there is a natural fit with low energy, sustainable design as well as historic building conservation. #ecosmaclean #engineeringservices #climateaction

A cadastral water boundary refers to the legally defined and surveyed limits or boundaries of water features, such as rivers, lakes, or coastlines, within a specific geographic area. These boundaries are typically established for the purpose of property ownership and land management, helping to determine which parcels of land have riparian rights or access to the water, and they are essential for regulating land use and resource management in relation to water bodies. You will need to hire an Ontario Land Surveyor to determine where your water boundary is. Our team can determine the precise location of the boundary based on established surveying methods and relevant property records while using the appropriate surveying equipment. Contact us about your property and we will send you an estimate for professional Land Surveying services. https://buff.ly/3Q7Vj76 #engineering #design #architecture #construction #interiordesign #design #building #contractor #architecturaldesign #realestate #brockville #kingston #ottawa #cornwall #smithsfalls #gananoque #1000islands #easternontario #engineer #designer #ontario #build #diy #exterior #render #CAD #sketchup #landscape #surveying
