No problem, they'll help you transfer across. 🏠 Looking to progress into management in the future? No problem, as a growing department you're already in line to be the Underwriting Manager at some point. 🏠 Want to learn the 'numbers' side of Underwriting? Absolutely, they'll also expose you to that! Loss ratios, you name it! 🏠 Want to be able to make suggestions without that red tape? Go for it, they have underwriting control so can set the rules. 🏠 Home working, absolutely. A mixture of home/office based to give you that balance. Q4 2024 experienced advisor recruitment started slow but has begun to pick-up. We sourced to poll and screened 5126 experienced Insurance/Annuity/Wealth Advisors in Q3 down 3% from Q3 2023. A few key factors you may find beneficial for your EXP recruitment strategy. 88% of those EXP projects were on the Advisor AUM platforms including Wealth Advisors, RIA, CFP, CRP etc. Some of those projects included an insurance requirement. 11% of those EXP projects were on platforms and skewed to Life and other insurance products. AUM requirements ranged from $10MM to $40MM with $25MM the average up 20% from Q3 2023. The payouts on AUM platforms ranged from 55bp to 93bp. When advisors were asked if they would make a move, 39% said yes, a 20% drop from Q3 2023. 530 Advisors stated an interest in talks or interviews with clients up 50% from Q3 2023. Interest in transitioning has been heating up. Independents working on BD platforms continue to have richer payouts. We haven't seen a lot of back room (by the hour) platforms created. Looks to be a great niche concept that has peaked. All of our information comes from first person outreach discussions. The spreads in payouts are less but still significant between industry models. Banks and wire houses continue to hover around 40BP-50BP. Large BD are the main beneficiaries of book of business transactions.
