Silence is not only the absence of noise, it is also submission and passivity. The right to speak, to allow people to speak or to silence others, guarantees the control of the word. The one who holds the power is the one who speaks and the only source of the legitimate word. Power and word do not exist without each other, one being the basis of the other. The seizure of power is the conquest of the word. The education received represents an enormous linguistic and social barrier. The denial of education, together with the implementation of a series of not very complex and reassuring premises, are, in any society, a simple and effective method of maintaining submission and silence. This silencing has had devastating consequences, as it has perpetuated inequality, discrimination and violence against anything that falls outside of what is considered “normal.” By not listening to or taking into account what is different, their opportunities for personal, professional and political development are limited. In short: It is silence that must be heard.

This is absolutely wild. Everything in the world has been commercialised to such an extent as to exclude many income classes. education should never be one of those inaccessible domains. But here we are #Academia #capatilism #exclusionary practises

Random Thoughts ! We should not incessantly chase glamour, style, and stimulating actions, gestures, and attire everywhere and at all times. On platforms like TikTok, I see countless followers drawn to clips showcasing physical displays that are not only ethically questionable but also representations we would not appreciate for our own women, daughters, and wives. Isn't this a symbol of our intellectual degradation? Why have we lost the esteem for knowledge and wisdom? Why do we take pride in our westernization? Why don't we embrace the values of grace, dignity, decorum, and the virtues of our ancestors? A peaceful and prosperous society will only emerge when we minimize opportunities to foster primal impulses. Whenever fire and oil are mixed, destruction ensues. Let us firmly hold onto divine guidance, respect one another, and strive for equality. Education is deemed essential for both men and women, but it must not compromise the standards of ethics and character. What are your thoughts on this?

People don’t realize that the education system was the main tool of assimilation and abuse to First Nations people. That its intent was to cause harm and destruction. Many of our people were afraid of the education system, since it has historically been a tool to wage horrific abuse on our people. In a modern lens, we are now seeing our people reapproach the education system with the intention of what it was supposed to be used for: Elevating the knowledge, social and socioeconomic circumstances of an individual, and nations. How schools don’t see the significance of these successes in spite of that history is a failure of the educational institution’s own education! Let them wear their beaded caps and feathers!
