You’re being cold called by 2 different people: - Person A says “you’re an amazing producer and I would love to learn more about you” - Person B asks “do you have room to take on 1-2 more loans per month?” Which are you most likely to listen to for another 30 seconds? I’m Person B all day. Now - are we offering the same type value when connecting with potential new referral partners? Not necessarily guaranteeing them a listing/buyer every month…but at least offering them a system/solution to meeting more new people? Or a way to capture more leads via proven metrics? Or something they can immediately implement into their sales efforts to target a niche market? What specifically are we offering instead of meeting for a cup of coffee? Our value proposition is the key to meeting new referral partners. Ask yourself this - what do I specifically do to help generate more leads, enhance my referral partner’s growth, etc? Write it down.
