Our safety awareness topic for October includes hearing protection and personal protective equipment. One of the challenges I have learned is: how do we best protect and accommodate employees who are hearing impaired or already had hearing loss? OSHA has a few special Safety and Health Information Bulletins you may find helpful! I found most interesting the Bulletin from 2005 titled "Hearing Conservation for the Hearing-Impaired Worker" (SHIB 12-27-2005), and there are more topics here: https://lnkd.in/e7_MdMfH
