Growth is a mindset at Candid Health, and this includes our talent. Four new hires have recently joined our exceptional team: Gabriela Santiago, Melanie Sulewski, Rob Senseman and Courtney Wall, LSW. Gabriela joins as a Strategy and Operations Lead, after five years at BCG, where she focused on transformations in biopharma supply chain and operations. Prior to BCG, she spent approximately 5 years in analytics roles in startups in the Boston area. Melanie, who is also joining as a Strategy and Operations Lead, spent her entire career in various sectors of the healthcare industry, starting with clinical research at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and moving into executive recruiting for healthcare tech and services companies. Most recently, she spent five years at Nomad Health, a digital marketplace for healthcare staffing, where as Director of Strategy & Operations, she focused on optimizing performance, boosting productivity, and strengthening client relationships. Joining as a Data Engineer, Rob brings experience in Data Engineering, ML Platform & Data Science at Oculus, Flexport, and Cash App. Most recently, he built internal tools to connect machine learning modelers to remote compute at Cash App. Rob had a first career as a mechanical engineer making things from sheet metal. Courtney joins Candid as a Sales Development Representative. After completing her MSW program, Courtney worked clinically as a social worker in Chicago Public Schools. She then made the decision to move away from clinical work and began working as a BDA at Array Behavioral Care and then as an SDR at Tava Health. We're excited to leverage her knowledge and expertise here at Candid Health!

Apologies for the long post, but its LinkedIn so hopefully you are used to it. I’m grateful to share that I’m building a fractional product management practice aimed at supporting modern healthcare companies during pivotal growth phases. Whether it’s launching B2B partnerships, expanding nationally, introducing new services, or breaking into new markets, I’m here to help bridge the gap between commercial strategy and technical capabilities. Reflecting on my career, the central theme has always been about expanding access to innovative clinical solutions. I’ve had the privilege of working at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and finance, crafting products that make a real difference. Recently, I transitioned to an advisory role at Brightline, where we launched BrightLife Kids (https://lnkd.in/gzASHwU8), a joint effort with the State of California to provide free mental health support to 6.3 million children and their families in California. It’s inspiring to see innovative healthcare companies like Selia (https://lnkd.in/gMrJCHbK) and Synapticure (https://lnkd.in/gdZ6ywae) targeting underserved populations and higher acuity patients. As an advisor to these companies, I’m continually motivated by their dedication to addressing these critical challenges, which is why I remain passionate about working in healthcare despite its complexities. As I dive deeper into this new chapter, I’m particularly curious about how we can leverage AI agents in healthcare enterprises to accelerate the growth of clinical solutions. The potential here is immense, and I’m eager to explore it further. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey so far. Your support means the world to me. If you’re working on something exciting in the healthcare space or just want to catch up (bonus point for meeting in person), feel free to reach out. Let’s continue to innovate and make a difference together!

Today marks the end of my incredible chapter at Open Government Products. As I pack up my virtual (and real) desk, I can’t help but reflect on how much I’ve grown and the moments that have shaped me during this journey. When I first joined the HAS(Health Appointment System) team, I wasn’t sure what to expect—just that I was stepping into a role that contributes to public healthcare. What I found was so much more: a space to collaborate, learn, and contribute to something meaningful alongside some of the most talented and driven people I’ve ever met. From tackling competing product decisions to solving complex problems, I’ve seen firsthand how important collaboration can be in driving impactful solutions and aligning key stakeholders toward a shared goal. One of my fulfilling moments was diving deep into data insights to identify opportunities that increased user adoption—a reminder of how impactful it is when decisions are driven by understanding real users and their needs. Beyond the skills and #Healthtech projects, it’s the people I’ll remember most—mentors who challenged me, teammates who inspired me, and friends who made even the toughest days rewarding. Thank you HAS/RefX team for the support, the conversations, and the collective wins we celebrated together. I’m walking away with not just new skills, but a whole new perspective on growth and collaboration of a great product team. While I’m excited to see what the next chapter holds, I’ll always look back on this experience with gratitude. #UserExperience #Productstrategy #Operations #DataAnalytics *Shoutout to Suhaila R. Kenneth Sng for inspiring me to step out of my comfort zone!

Many years ago, when I worked at Johnson & Johnson, I had the pleasure of meeting Jyoti Jain. These were the early days of building out our first advanced #analytics, #data, and #technology capabilities for Johnson & Johnson Consumer (now Kenvue) as well as J&J Vision and Medical Devices. We were at the forefront of developing a future for businesses that were traditionally not advanced in using data and analytics for commercial, digital, customer engagement, manufacturing, and supply chain transformation. Like many data & analytics &AI innovators, we continued to exchange ideas, fueled by a shared passion for #life-changing insights, #tech #innovations, and #AI. But we hadn’t had the chance to meet since the pandemic. When I texted Jyoti saying I would be in #Singapore, she immediately said YES! During our catch-up, we had a fantastic discussion around: 👩💻 How data, analytics, and AI are evolving in response to technological advancements and the growing demands of organizations. 👩💻 The common challenges large companies face in implementing effective data strategies and governance frameworks. 👩💻 The importance of integrating data & AI into business strategies and how to truly measure the value they deliver. 👩💻 Debating the "buy vs. build in-house" approach, where we see wins, and future opportunities. We also talked about the exciting work happening at #TEConnectivity and #JohnsonJohnson Digital Surgery. Both companies are at the forefront of #medical innovation, and it's fascinating to see how tiny medical connectors are enabling smarter, smaller digital medical technologies, driving breakthroughs in the #healthcare industry. It was an inspiring conversation and a reminder of how important to stay connected, share ideas, partner, and innovate together! Data and AI continue to shape industries and unlock new possibilities! #DataAnalytics #AI #MedicalInnovation #DigitalTransformation #TEConnectivity #JohnsonJohnson #Leadership #Collaboration #Innovation Jyoti Jain Daniel Thull Dmitri Pankov Jeff Srour Bernhard Brouwer Eugene Roytburg Ph.D. Jim Sarka Kok Seng Pun Camilla Björkqvist MBA Daniel Rodrigues Pavi Gupta Janardhan (JR) Ramachandran Igor Levin Cristian Tudose, PMP 🇨🇦 Aminul Khan Nikolay Logachevskiy Ravi Parmeswar Helena Yin Koeppl Amel Lageat Manish Mathur Devavrat (Dev) Bapat Learn more about how #TEConnectivity can help your next medical project: http://spr.ly/6040glg9m

It's hard to believe it's been almost a month since I began my search for the next opportunity. Over this time, I've had many insightful conversations: phone screens, Zoom Interviews, and consulting requests. A big THANK YOU to everyone I've connected with so far! Common themes have emerged in many of these discussions: ◾ Scaling clinical models in a digital format ◾ People Management ◾ Clinical Outcomes in relation to performance (both program/care team) I'd like to focus on the Clinical Outcomes topic and launch a weekly LinkedIn series where I'll explore this topic from multiple perspectives. Each week, I'll wear a different hat: 🟩 Coach 🟧 Manager 🟨 Operations Leader 🟦 Future Collaborator - What needs to change and how collaboration across various departments can drive us to improve how we measure these outcomes effectively. I plan to wrap up the series with a final post summarizing the state of clinical outcomes in digital therapeutics and what we need to do to drive improvement moving forward. I'd love for you to join me on this journey - please like, comment and share your thoughts as I explore these in the weeks to come.

With Thanksgiving approaching, I'm feeling grateful for the incredible teams and partnerships that make clinical research possible. To all the dedicated professionals advancing patient care - thank you for inspiring our work every day. Speaking of partnerships, let's dive into something I'm truly passionate about - strategic site selection in clinical research. It's fascinating how this process goes far beyond checking boxes; it's really about building networks that drive both immediate trial success and long-term excellence. Through managing complex trials, I've found these elements make all the difference: 1. Strategic Alignment Looking at what sites can do today is important, but I get excited about their vision for tomorrow. The real magic happens when we see: • Growth trajectory alignment • Innovation mindset • Commitment to continuous improvement • Investment in research infrastructure 2. Operational Intelligence The numbers matter, but there's a deeper story in: • Site ecosystem dynamics • Staff development programs • Problem-solving capabilities • Cross-functional coordination strength 3. Partnership Potential I've learned that the strongest relationships flourish when we find: • Cultural fit with research objectives • Open communication patterns • Adaptability to change • Engaged leadership Here's what experience has taught me: when we focus on building the right networks, we create foundations for lasting research excellence. What factors have you found most crucial in evaluating potential research partners? #ClinicalTrials #SiteSelection #ClinicalResearch #StrategicPartnerships #Gratitude
