We're starting a new habit here - sharing our work in progress. A way to provide a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes of using design and creative skillsets to help innovators in social sectors communicate better and more effectively. So to kick it off, here are some recent illustration tests we've been creating for an organisation providing self-compassion training for young teens. The examples represent different parts of their workshops related to self-compassion, facing our inner dragon, discovering our superhero abilities, finding gratitude and making ourselves and the world a kinder place. How did you practice self-compassion today? #CalummaWIP

"One of my key priorities as a teacher was to ensure my students were equipped with the relevant skills, values, and attitudes to prepare them for the evolving world of work. To do this and supplement the academic knowledge students receive inside the classroom, I wanted to expose my students to different types of learning experiences through project-based learning focused on helping them acquire communication, listening, innovation, and problem-solving skills." - Mary Nyadoi Read the full blog from Teach For All here: https://lnkd.in/eaJ6Qe2Q This week's celebrated value is Purpose, a social and relational force. It involves establishing and nurturing meaningful connections with others and the world. Whether through contributing to a community, building meaningful relationships, or participating in societal progress, purpose compels us to recognise our interconnectedness and shared responsibilities. 🚀 Empowering the Next Generation to Design Their Lives I had the privilege of facilitating a dynamic 3-hour online workshop for teenagers, focusing on an essential skill that’s often overlooked: how to be proactive in designing their life and career paths with Design Your Life at 25 The workshop combined insights from **scientific personality assessments like the Holland Code with the Engineering Design Process—a powerful framework to guide exploration, reflection, and action. Here's what we achieved together: ✨ Self-Discovery: Participants dove deep into understanding their strengths, interests, and values through engaging activities, guided discussions, and evidence-based tools. 🧠 Unlearning & Mindset Shifts: We challenged preconceived notions and encouraged participants to unlearn limiting beliefs that might hold them back from pursuing a fulfilling future. 🎨 Prototyping Their Future: Using creativity and strategic thinking, each participant envisioned the life they aspire to lead. 🗺️ Roadmap & Action Plan: By the end of the session, every teen had a clear, actionable roadmap to start moving closer to their designed life—with steps they can take as soon as we close the meeting. Witnessing these young minds gain clarity and confidence was deeply rewarding. It reinforced my belief that empowering teenagers with tools and frameworks for intentional living can profoundly shape their futures. If you're passionate about helping young people unlock their potential or are curious about the workshop's methodology, feel free to connect. Together, we can build a generation that doesn’t just dream about the future but actively designs it. #DesignYourLife #TeenEmpowerment #CareerPathways #PersonalGrowth #FutureLeaders

𝗜𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗪𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝘆𝗹𝗲? As 2024 draws to a close, I find myself reflecting on the moments that shaped my year. One recurring thought? 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻. This realization has led me to focus on an exciting new niche for 2025: helping educators and parents uncover their child’s or learner’s unique learning style. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿? Because understanding how a child learns is the foundation for unlocking their potential. It’s the secret sauce that transforms 𝗳𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗮𝘀𝗺, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀. Through this journey, I aim to equip parents and educators with tools to identify whether their learner thrives through hands-on exploration, visual aids, auditory cues, or a mix of approaches. Imagine the impact of creating an environment where every child feels seen, understood, and empowered to succeed! As I set my sights on this mission, I’d love to hear from you: 👉 What strategies have you found effective in understanding your child’s or student’s learning needs? 👉 What’s one goal you’re setting for 2025 to make learning more impactful for those you serve? Let’s spark a conversation that inspires growth and transformation as we step into a new year together. #msfolatheeducator #learnersfavouriteteacher #childcentrededucation #parentingwithpurpose #learningstylematters

This week, as a part of our #WellbeingWednesdays series, we're giving you homework! 📌 What You Need to Do: Pick one empathy task from the list we've shared above, which you have to complete. It's that simple! 📌 What Next: All you have to do is reflect on the experience. What are you learning? 📌 What's Going On? Teachers and parents who use Rangeet can select empathy tasks from a longer list to present to children (depending on their age). They range in terms of difficulty. Some are individual activities and some are group-based. No matter which one is selected, it makes children put themselves in someone else's shoes, thereby learning how to be more empathetic. 📌 Is this Connected to Wellbeing? Empathy acts as a bridge to stronger wellbeing, both for ourselves and others. It fosters compassion, motivating us to help others in need, which ends up bringing us a sense of purpose, connection and happiness. On the other hand, feeling empathised with means feeling supported and understood, strengthening social bonds. Rangeet's play-based curriculum connects the common strand of empathy for Self with those around us in our Societies, and to all life on earth in our Ecological systems. Interested in bringing this to your classroom? Wondering how to help your child take charge and stay motivated? 🌟✨ Encouraging self-motivation in children can transform how they approach learning and everyday responsibilities. Here are some impactful techniques to inspire their drive and independence: - Set Clear Expectations: Children are more motivated when they understand what’s expected of them. Clearly outline their responsibilities and celebrate their progress to keep them engaged and on track. 📋👏 - Make Learning Fun: Incorporate creativity and play into learning. By turning challenges into fun tasks, kids are more likely to enjoy the process and take the initiative. 🎨📚 👉 Join our Masterclass: https://hi.switchy.io/JkE2 to discover proven strategies to raise motivated, self-driven kids! - Encourage Goal-Setting: Guide them in setting small, achievable goals, like finishing a book or completing chores. This helps build their confidence and teaches them the value of persistence. 🎯💪 - Provide Autonomy: Allowing kids to make choices fosters responsibility. Let them pick their chores or decide when to complete a task, building their sense of ownership and accountability. 🚀🗓️ - Model Self-Motivation: Show them what self-motivation looks like by working towards your own goals. Your enthusiasm and commitment will inspire them to develop the same mindset. 🧩🙋♀️ Encourage these simple habits, and watch them bloom with motivation and responsibility! #SelfMotivatedKids #ParentingTips #ABKidsLifeCoach #HappyParentsHub #HPH #AmitBatra #PositiveParenting #RaiseLeaders #MotivationMatters #ParentingSupport
