🎨 “We desperately need good design in this world and we desperately don't need bad design and thats why its so important that we should come to terms with it.” I recently came across a thought-provoking video by Alice Rawsthorn discussing the concept of "Bad Design". Her insights shed light on the often-overlooked aspects that shape our daily experiences. If you're interested in challenging conventional design notions and gaining valuable perspective, I highly recommend giving it a watch: https://lnkd.in/eXNMSkrj

Who are we really designing for when we design public spaces, shops and airports? 🤔 At just over one meter tall, Sinéad Burke is acutely aware of that her surroundings often inhibit her from doing things she is complete capable of - had things been designed with her height in mind. In this TED Talk, she shares her thoughts on why it's so important to ask ourselves who we're not designing for. ... Every week we share content that inspires us in our work or, in some way, moves us to become better professionals, colleagues, or leaders. #universaldesign #accessibility #inclusivedesign

This is excellent Marsha Ramroop FRSA FIEDP. Commendable openess from you. We should all be doing this. We have an Inclusive Growth Strategy at The Reverse Mentoring Practice. We adapted it from the OECD - OCDE inclusive growth pillars. Using this we are working to increase inclusion in all components of our value chain. We need to be more accountable and transparent as you have and maybe more focus on sustainability.
