Calgary Construction Association’s Post

The Calgary Construction Association would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our supporting sponsors who have contributed to the Calgary Construction Association Education Fund. Your support has been pivotal in shaping a brighter future for our community by investing in education and inspiring the next generation. One of the key initiatives made possible by your sponsorships is the "Honour the Work" Curriculum Supplement Program. This program introduces Grades 1-6 students to the world of construction, fostering an early appreciation for the industry's essential role in building our communities. Through engaging lessons and interactive materials, "Honour the Work" helps students understand the craftsmanship, innovation, and collaboration required in the construction industry while introducing them to potential career paths in this vital field. Thanks to your generosity, this program has been implemented in over 850 classrooms across the Calgary Catholic School District and Calgary Board of Education, reaching more than 30,000 students. By highlighting the value of construction and the trades, "Honour the Work" not only educates but also inspires pride in the work that shapes our city. We are deeply grateful for your commitment to education and the construction industry. Your contributions are helping to build a stronger, more informed community and ensuring that students can explore meaningful, impactful careers in the future. Thank you for making this initiative a reality and for helping us honour the work that builds our world. We thank our sponsors: Procore Technologies BILD Calgary Region Foundation Joe & Nancy Thompson Family Fund at Edmonton Community Foundation #Calgary #Alberta #Community #SkilledTrades #Education #Curriculum Honour The Work
