Havells India Ltd. was once led by #QimatRaiGupta, who also served as the group's chairman and managing director. Anil Rai Gupta, his son, is the Chairman and Managing Director at the moment. Qimat regarded humankind and effective #communication, making him a sincere disciple of Gandhi ji. He's a big believer in having direct communication with his dealers and staff. Qimat Rai Gupta was born in the Punjabi village of Malerkotla in 1937. Gupta, who comes from a lower middle class family, was influenced throughout his early years by the Bhagwad Gita's lessons and the ideals of Indian culture. He worked as a drawing teacher because he was unable to continue his education because of his family's #financial situation. Gupta had lofty ambitions from a young age, despite his humble beginnings, which paved the way for an incredible entrepreneurial adventure. Gupta began his work in 1958, shortly after graduating from Punjabi school. He traveled to New Delhi, where he established the groundwork for his #business career. His uncle, P.C. Gupta, who used to reside in Delhi, left town for a business trip and left Qimat in charge of his store. Qimat did a great job of managing the shop while P.C. Gupta was away, and she also brought in additional clients, which resulted in a notable increase in business. After returning, P.C. Gupta, impressed by Qimat's efforts, proposed that they launch a business together. Qimat and his uncle founded "Guptaji & Company," an electrical #trading company, on Bhagirath Place, a wholesale market for electrical items, with a meager capital of Rs 10,000.The turning point in Gupta's career came in 1971 when he saw a bright chance. He bought the well-known #Havells brand from Haveli Ram Gandhi, offering to buy the plant and the business for Rs 700,000. Nevertheless, Gupta lacked the necessary cash at that point to complete the deal. He purchased the brand name for less than Rs 700,000. At the time, the company's performance was subpar. His action was more than just acquiring a #brand; it was about taking charge of an established business and making it even more outstanding. Gupta did not spend any time in broadening the Company's horizons with the acquisition of Havells. Beyond just switches, he expanded the company's offerings to include cables, lighting, appliances, fans, and geysers. This calculated action set the stage for Havells to grow into a major force in the electrical sector. As of right now, the company is valued at ₹ 97,300 Cr. www.tycoonstory.com #QimatRaiGupta #Havells #IndianEntrepreneur #BusinessLeader #ElectricalIndustry #Founder #CEO #BusinessSuccess #HavellsIndia #Entrepreneurship #CorporateLeadership #BusinessLegacy #BusinessIcon #QimatRaiGuptaLegacy #IndianBusinessman #Entrepreneurial #IndustryLeader #IndianBusiness Havells India Ltd Souvik Sengupta Nutan Tripathy Krithi Manjunath Vijayshri Kumari Nirmal Singh Veeresh R

PART-1 Our Journey from Tech to Sarees: The Story of Oagh India After spending nearly 15 years in the software and tech industry, both Tiyasi Acharya and I were at that point in our careers where we started to think, "What next?" Like many who have dedicated over a decade to their work, we began contemplating doing something on our own. Naturally, given our experience, the first thought was to create something in the tech space. With my connections in the startup ecosystem, I had countless conversations with passionate, idea-driven people—many of whom had incredible ideas but were hesitant to take the leap (ironically!). One evening, after another round of these discussions, I returned home excited and told Tiyasi that I thought I had finally cracked something with a potential business partner. Tiyasi, with her usual calm smile, said, "That’s great. I think I’ve cracked something too—I want to sell sarees. I know a thing or two about them, and I even know a wholesaler." I was caught off guard, but in the best way possible. Her confidence and clarity about what she wanted were inspiring. Fast forward three months, my tech project fell apart because my partner couldn’t dedicate time to it, and here’s the kicker: Tiyasi had already sold over 50 sarees! That’s when it hit me—why don’t we build a brand together? We decided to take that leap of faith and Oagh was born. Part 2 - https://lnkd.in/gQrBVWXz?

India me 19-20 chalta hai! No boss! At Rajesh Karegaars 20-21 hi chalta hai! My observation: A denture with decades of experience can do wonders with just a few hammer hits, while the other with less experience might struggle despite his efforts. In equipment reconditioning, quantifying the expertise of a person isn't just about counting the number of hours they spent in a day It's about understanding the value of their years of experience. Your years of experience = your years of excellence, learning, and reliability. Hence, at Rajesh Karegaars, we believe that the number of years you’ve spent in this industry truly matters. Our team is comprised of professionals whose extensive experience ensures that we deliver the highest quality reconditioned equipment every time. No matter what others say, experience counts, and that’s why we stand out in the market! What is your take on this? . . . #Excellence #EquipmentIndustry #Reconditioning #ConstructionEquipment
