The other day, I was at a café, sipping my coffee and scribbling notes for the day—strategy plans, client updates, team discussions. Amid the hustle, a thought struck me: How often do we pause to acknowledge how far we've come? As someone running a marketing agency, my days are packed with deadlines, campaigns, and countless ideas to improve performance. It’s easy to get caught up in the chase—more clients, better results, higher growth. But rarely do I sit back and look at the journey. I remembered when we started out. Back then, everything was an uphill climb—building trust, onboarding clients, and convincing ourselves that we could make it. Today, while the challenges haven’t disappeared, the view has changed. Yes, there are struggles. Yes, there’s a long road ahead. But sometimes, it’s about celebrating the smaller wins: - A client appreciating our work. - A team member taking ownership of a project. - That one campaign hitting it out of the park. In marketing, we often talk about “momentum.” It’s the same in life. A little pause, a little acknowledgment, and you’re ready to take the next step. "Scaling"—as it's taught most of the time—is broken (if not downright exploitative). And if you look underneath all of the talk about "being the unquestionable expert" and "building a massive following" and "building out your funnels" and "outsourcing overseas” and “delegating the low-value work so you can do the high-value work”...
