I was on a fabulous panel at Entrepreneur Business Live this week. This is what I observed from a panellist pov: 🎤 The blend of experience is hugely important. We talked about engaging large audiences and had panellists with complimentary but different backgrounds. It meant Alison Camps FRSA CMRS Adrian Lugg Kiki Bhaur - The FUN Brand Strategist 😎 and I could give fully fleshed out answers. 🎤 Examples and case studies go down a storm. Our audience gave fabulous feedback about how our expertise shone through. We had examples from huge brands to demonstrate what we were talking about. 🎤 It’s ok to have different opinions! As professionals, we have a respect for our peers but we don’t have to agree on everything. Different perspectives are good. 🎤 Be confident in fluidity If your panellists are strong, they can converse rather than just present. Interaction between guests brings flavour. 🎤 The host must know their stuff Richard Moore Moore has been around the block so was able to enrich stories rather than simply facilitate. 🎤 Humour makes you human. We had a laugh! But humour also makes people feel safe in your space. What tips have you got for panellists?
